I regret missing the missing the St. Paul one. A friend of mine who went said it was pretty interesting and from what I've seen on the news it looked like a hoot. There were about 10,000 people who came out including a Tea party early in the day by a group demanding that the rich be taxed more.

At the main rally they had people wearing tea bags, a 15' inflatable American Eagle by a guy saying taxes were patriotic and at the end they put a bunch of tea bags in a crate to send to Congress.

Today will go down as a great day in history where true Americans actualy rallied together for lower taxes and smaller government. I was at the Houston Tea Party and there were about 10,000 people strong all with the same message...

Like I said earlier, nothing like a good peoples revolt to bring out the communists and get their dander up...LOL

We are tired of the federal government taxing us to the poor house and having no accountability for their spending.

You come across as an educated man but some of your posts scream of a mommy / daddy complex and pure ignorance.

Just got home. Now I'm going to turn on the TIVO to watch the Rockets - Mavs game. However, I must give you this tease before I go -- it was as big or bigger than your protest pix above.

From well past Crockett Street all the way past the Main Post Office and covering all the Alamo Square and backing down the side streets, there were so many people we couldn't squeeze within 40 yards of the speakers' dais -- and I went hours early. If you turned around, you bumped into someone. It was like being in a really packed elevator all over the Alamo Plaza.

In short, the Alamo Tea Party was a blast. I thought that after Beck left the party would fall apart. It didn't. It was packed to the very end -- and then the reprobate newsies I was with insisted on doing a little drinking on the River Walk. I would have made it all the way up the steps to street level if somebody hadn't stepped on my hand. :D (Just kidding. I don't drink, but the comraderie was fantastic.)

Can't wait for the July 4th Tea Party!

Why does the title say the reporter is harassed? She asked the guy why he here then she felt she had to have an argument with him.

Actually I do have photos but you can just see them on the news media outlets....oh no you can't because they are to hypocritical to report them honestly.

And for the record, this isn't about republican, democrate or conservative; this is about preserving an American way of life. The very fact that the admitted communiists like SamiFisher, Rimrocker, KingCheetha and a few others try so hard to marginalize it should be a wake up call that its working and they are scared of any sort of peoples revolt that does not promote their narrow minded causes.

Correction: People like YOU don't take me seriously.

Fortunately I gave up a long time ago caring what people like you think of me. And in turn found out that there a heck of a lot of people who do think like me, except we are the ones to busy trying to earn money working, taking care of our families and maintaining our faith to realize we were letting the children take over the house. Well guess what, the adults have been riled and its a beautiful thing. God Bless America!

Are you on drugs? Before the election it just looked like you'd temporarily lost it but now you're just on another level of crazy.

Today will actually go down as the day American conservatism and it's angry white male rhetoric took another solid step into the waste basket of history.

How come I don't see any blacks, mexicans, asians, or any other minorities in these tea parties? It sure looks like a republican rally to me.

First, I never admitted anything (except to my fellow travelers).

Second, we can't marginalize teabagging because the teabaggers have already done such a great job of doing it themselves.

Third, this is not a people's revolt. It's a scam and people like you are the marks.

    Now now, comrade

    We must be benevolent overlords.

Remember, teabagging is the opiate of the masses.

it's not a scam.. its a true grass roots movement.. people are tired of wasteful govt spending.. this has nothing to do with which party you are in. I am asian american so I do not fit the racist old white crowd the media is trying portray everyone attending these event as. All we simply want is to call for some personal responsibility and to stop the pork and wasteful spending all the bail outs. What is so wrong with that?

If you have a problem with these protests, then you must love your tax dollars going to fund bankers and killing Iraqi women and children. Either you're with us or the terrorists lololsamething.

Great point that I think needs to be expounded upon more. Also, people didn't take this guy seriously.
