Morey has to draft this man. Projected to go at pick 21. 6'8", 6'11" wingspan. Excellent spot up shooter, aggressive, high motor. Good finisher at the rim, can pull up off a dime and is a very crafty passer. Handles are still a work in progress but has no issue attacking the rim on straight line drives and finishing (cough Ariza).

This is exactly the type of player we need around Harden moving forward. He has elite role player all over him.

    Only 21 years old.

Is he a first round pick? Because we don't have one at all if we make the playoffs.

Will he be picked in the first round? Because I don't think he will be around past that.

We are not a shoe in by any measure. Jazz beat Lakers. Thats not a stretch and we lose to Kings (they are better than the Suns and I am sure Rondo wouldn't mind spoiling).

So. Pick probably gone. But a certainty??

Just read that. Guess I should research before writing. Tonight should be a layup. Guess we will see.

He won't drop like Harrell did. Also, it'd be awesome if we somehow traded into the first round, maybe even lottery. But I doubt Les lets that happen.

I feel like our draft picks this summer are KJ and Dekker. Brewer is officially in that position where he is taking minutes from younger prospects. Brew should be gone, and that spot should be where KJ fits in. As much as everyone hates Corey, I think his intensity/transition game/random moments of going OFF make him a worthwhile guy, but KJ can be a solid piece in this league. Plus, we haven't even see what Dekker can do either.

    Correct.

That is why the D-Mo trade was so important to Morey. At least you got a pick back if we lost our own pick.

It's not like Morey has ever bought a pick to get a player he wanted.
