Good point, I asked a question about this a while back about the Chinese symbol for love and not passionate love you have for a girlfriend or spouse but love like you love a mother, father, sister, or brother. I think someone posted what it looked like, cannot remember though.

No, they were lamoids and actually got the trite chain link fence around the arms and ankles (2 different people)
non yet...but i have a few options: 1) "your name" on my ass - but Steve-O from Jackass stole my idea. ... cuz then you could say to any girl - i got your name tattood on my ass. 2) "Made in Canada" on the bottom of my left foot - lots of teddy bears say "made in china" on the bottom of their feet - i just thought it would be cool. The only thing stopping me is how sensitive that area is - would prob hurt quite a bit. 3) My last name tattood on my back...shoulder to shoulder in a slight "U" angle.

I doubt I'll ever get one, but if I did I'd probably get a 20-sided dice tattoo'd on my arm or something.

I don't have any tattoos yet, but I have always wanted to get a "celtic heart" that I saw somewhere, and then modified it to my liking. I just can't decide on where to get it. I guess behind my left shoulder would be a good place... But then again tattoos cost money, of which I don't have a lot.
Was watching one of those real-life emergency room shows on the Learning Channel, or something like that. An ambulance driver had come in. The camera crew saw a tatoo on his arm of the faces of two little girls. They asked him who they were - maybe his daughters? He said he had no wife or kids, and never knew the girls. He had a call one day to an emergency scene where the two girls had been brutally murdered, their bodies and faces ripped to pieces. He'd seen a lot of grizzly scenes, but that had been the worst. He wasn't a big fan of tattoos, but he went to a tattoo parlor with a picture of the two girls (before being killed) and had their faces tattooed to his arm so that he would always remember them for their true faces, and not the mangled flash that he saw. -- droxford

I'd like to get some tribal or spiritual based. Problem is, I am not religious at all and am not an expert scholar of any indigenous people's or cultures. I do have more than a passing interest in Mayan society stemming from an anth. minor, in addition to any and all native American populations. Anyone seen any cool designs from either of those cultures.
