im not at the point of using numbers yet on Tate or the rockets . When you are a **** team / tanking / small sample size . Yada yada yada . too many holes for my liking . but for my eye test , Tate is a beast and has been . He is REALLY decisive . He always keeps the ball moving fast or makes his move . his size turns into a plus if you move him down and his quickness still plays . Think about the lack of talent that Tate has played with . Get this guy some shooters and people that are willing and able to play defense and he might just lead us to the play-in . that doesn’t sound so impressive , but it’s just his third year now . Imagine if he gets a bit of a shot going . people that want to develop KJ over him are psychotic lmao

Think about when we actually have a chance
I think tonight highlighted how there are only 2 competent guards on the roster under the age of 75. Christopher, Nix, and Tyty are complete scrubs. There's no reason not to let Tate come off the bench at the 1. Since you have KJ and Eason that are miles ahead of Tate, he's blocked at the 3. Give him a shot as the bench 1 since he's on such a small contract.
