If you are good enough player you will get opportunities somewhere. If he doesn't get him here he will move on which might best for Tari.
I would love to keep the core of Green, Sengun, Bari, Tari with KMJ, Garuba together - happy to also keep KPJ (if he falls in line), Boban, TyTy and everyone else who fits in. I really think we are just a high pick, a good free agent, another year of experience and a real coach away from being a winning team.
I believe so....and that's my point. Parents want the best for their kids. Worst teams in every sport tend to draw top talent....sorry parents. It could be worse.....Tari could have been drafted by Magic, Pistons or OKC. Rockets are going to beat each one. Go Rockets!!
She needs to chill if my mom did as much cussing as this woman does on Twitter I'd be embarrassed smh.
I agree, lol. But it has never gotten to this level of "what are you doing?". There was a baseline of competency with all the other coaches the Rockets have had. Silas does so many wacky things even people mothers have to check him.
im figuring add Scoot and maybe Myles Turner... or Wemby and a vet pg... and we're locked n loaded for next year... (edit) ...with a good coach.
You say that looking back now, but I remember the days of JVG, McHale, Bickerstaff, etc. "JVG?! WHY U TRY TO TURN YAO INTO SHARQ?! U DUN NO BASKETBALL!" "McHALE JUST *CLAP* *CLAP* and 'DROP THAT ASS' ALL DAY! I CAN DO THAT, TOO!" "BICKERSTAFF IS A JOKE!!! WE'RE TOO CHEAP TO HIRE A REAL COACH!" Even Adelman and D'Antoni/Morey were ridiculed by many on here. It doesn't matter who the coach is - that coach will eventually be absolutely wrong for the organization - you can pretty much book it. It cracks me up all the people wanting JVG to be coach again after how much people were b****ing about he had no clue how to run an offense, drove his star players into the ground, and was too old school for the modern generation of player. It's like people forgot or something. People were saying Bickerstaff had no reason to step on an NBA court with so little experience and that we were just being cheap. "It's no wonder we suck!" I need to hunt for some of the banter about Nick Nurse. Short-term memory. It doesn't really matter to me about this season, tbh, so I don't care what Silas and the FO are doing. Next season to me is the proving season for Silas, and hell, even with that, I'm only expecting to hit 30-35 wins, and by some miracle - 40 wins. I hope this season they get some of these dudes to prove they belong elsewhere, so we can package them up to get another level of talent higher. With our possible upcoming draft haul and what we have now, there's just too much "talent" or "suspected talent" to give them all realistic/consistent minutes without them thinking they need more minutes.
