How are you a member? I think there should be a rule where you revoke someone's member status for making threads like this. It's only been 5 games. From last game, we can tell that we played some sort of D. We can build from last night. Tired of all these fair weather fans.

Are there any C / PF with high BBIQ, athleticism and length that can embarrass an aging Timmy Duncan and swat Manu and Parker out of the lane? A player or players with Horry's body, Barkley's IQ, Artest's intimidation, and Rodman's tenacity?

Houston should stockpile second round draft picks and pick only C / PF and hope one or two of them turn into the anti-Spur.

Anybody see the humor in how last season was season as a throw-away and therefore somehow suitable to tank. Yet this year we suck and it is not suitable to mention tanking. And for every Michael Olowakandi and Kwame Brown there an equal and greater number of Kevin Durant's, LeBron James', Yao Ming's, Dwight Howard's and Rudy Gay's. 2006 everybody wanted JVG to tank so we could draft Brandon Roy.

Fact is, these inkown commodities as some have put it are who develop into star players, role players and heroes of the game. Is it too early to rev up the tank engine? Yes. Unthinkable? Hell, we're 0-5.

I hope the OP lost as many brain cells creating this topic as I lost reading it. :(

Greg Oden was a # 1 pick. Just saying. No Guarantees in draft picks.

We have too much talent to lose 50 games, which is probably required if we want a decent chance of getting a top three pick.
