Just coming in to say: It's the 12th pick, as of now. The Bulls are sitting at the 14th pick, and 2 games ahead of the Rockets.
One more giant step closer to the next Reggie Miller/key piece in a future deal that lands us a star, or the coveted athletic stretch 4 from a major program, or Carmelo Anthony with defense. Can't wait.
Tank for what? Moving up to the #13 pick instead of the #15? It's a pointless idea if you don't either (a) already sit deep in the lottery, and (b) start before or at the All-Star break.
eh? not worth it. 11 Dejounte Murray 6-5 170 PG/SG Washington Fr. 12 Malik Beasley 6-5 195 SG Florida St. Fr. 13 Jakob Poeltl 7-1 240 C Utah So. 14 Marquese Chriss 6-9 225 PF Washington Fr. 15 Furkan Korkmaz 6-7 175 SG Turkey Intl. 16 Skal Labissiere 6-11 220 PF/C Kentucky Fr.
The draft pool gap is not that big for this year I think, though I agree with the others. Houston might not even need to tank intentionally with their showing as of late, harsh but true. If they keep displaying that type of basketball, then they'll actually get there without forcing the issue sadly lol.
LOL tank for what? Mauri is mediocre to pathetic 1st round drafter He will end up drafting another scrub like Dekker or Royce White or fools gold like TJ Only reason I'd want the pick is if Murray can flip it but I don't think GM's are buying this anymore. He had a chance to flip the NOP 18th pick for good value and instead drafted bust Dekker. Rather make the playoffs and cause some upsets and create history #pursuit
