Maybe you can talk Clutch into a new forum: "Game analysis"!
I will talk game breakdown with you. I have been a Rocket fan too long to worry about who is on the team or who the coach is. As long as they are in Houston. I'll check back with you when the season starts.

I was a big fan of the failed tankcity 2000 campaign but must admit i was unsure about ruddy's plans for the 2001 campaign, but now it is clear to me, Ruddy is definitely intiating TankCity 2001, why else would be so keen to get Mo to Htown,

MO knows how to lose, he knows how to lose with the best of them, he has contributed towards 100s of losses for the Clips and for me TankCity 2001 train is full steam ahead, especially once MO jumps onboard

I hereby nominate this for worst thread in the history of this BBS. It has everything: gratuitous meaningless provocation, rehashed stale topics, tiresome lame humor, cynical "ironic" insincerity, humorless preachy responses, adolescent McCarthyism, painfully stupid excretory jokes, and snippy self-referential wink-wink banter having nothing to do with the Rockets. A complete waste of everyone's time.

And I'm suing for copyright infringement.

TheFreak: I was against Jerome Moiso even before the draft, but why not take a chance on Etan Thomas? With the signing of Maurice Taylor we now have a great scorer up front, but still no defense. Why not draft Etan for some defensive help?

    oh oh,

    Will is at 998.

Do you think he was just doing finger exercises with his lashing of this thread? I think I might go into hiding now, for fear of being the butt of a millenium masterpiece.<font color="f7f7f7">

oops....I think now we can add, administrator misunderstanding to the list of crappy characteristics.

Will, I can't even think of what to write now that won't seem trite and petty as well...but, believe me, I was actually trying to just point out your post total and how I admire your penmanship. I think you might have read in that I took offense to your bash and assumed this was a petty come back.

My "mad as hell" thread turned into a real crapper too. Francis3 and Behad are right. I should shut up and let Flash do the talking for me. But something just makes me want to kick all the scurrying cats around here sometimes.

Here's the deal, I want to find "game talkers" around here. These classic passion threads that Smeggy, Crisco and I wrote yesterday can help flush out some personalities. As stupid as this may sound, I am preparing for the season. This board has little if any inspired game analysis. Playing with Flash is actually part of my job description at work. I want to help contribute "game analysis" threads to the board this year. My dream is others will participate constructively. I fear a repeat of last year where everyone just rehashing arguments and trade speculation of other threads.

I am also asking for help in herding cats. I find the only way to keep scurrying cats from sidetracking a conversation is to kick them. If I am going to help inspire constructive game analysis with doing Flash replays at midnight, I'm going to kick these 8ptr!!!!!!!! cats, if no body helps me.

I thought about writing a post asking for who wants to contribute to game threads. What good is that going to do. I've tried that before. The only way to achieve my goal is to read and write on this board and make contact with anyone who rises to the surface as a game analysis enthusiast...like Behad did above. To me, this thread succeeded for that reason alone. Don't tell me how I knew gamers would rise out of these retro threads (cats as well), but then did.

You see, well written trade speculation by Popeye is something he loves, and the cats, too. Questions fly about and opinions are everything. But, what I found last year was no matter how well a game talk thread would start, cats could not see that opinions about non-game issues were off-topic.

It can get ugly. Being civil does not work. You must kick cats.

So quit talking about it Woody, do something.

Diagram a successful play from the end of last year. Make it easy, two shakes w/ 4 little dumb dots on the right elbow. This talk is just tease.

Quit putting so many requirements on the kitty. Show it.

Achebe, everyone wants an audience. Why should I put out my Flash Camp now?

I thought about it, but hell, not without Nolen here. It can wait for camp. Until then, we kick cats, build concensus, and tease.<font color="f7f7f7">
