I thought Adelman was known for playing a short rotation and wearing out his starters with 35-40 minutes.

What about Deke? Are we not going to have a back up for Yao? Are we going to play small ball when he's out?

I guess its possible under Adelman to have one Big on the court at times.

Should we still call bonzi bouncie?

My bad, I thought it was both. I could have sworn he regularly played his starters over 32 minutes and used an 8 man rotation. It was just JVG.

Not the least bit dubious, Dubious. As everyone is saying, biggest news is Bonzi losing so much weight. I wonder if it's that much. Perhaps James was using a ballpark estimate. I mean a driving range estimate. Like I'll tell my wife she looks like she's lost 10 pounds, when she's lost 5. ;)

    Thanks for sharing !

It sounds like he is pumped and really looking forward to playing on this team, and for Adelman.

    Gonna be a good season.

    Yeah I agree.

He is easily the best three point shooter that we have, and plays well without the ball. I think he was trying too hard to be a third scored last year, but if he concentrates on finding a good spot on the floor, he should get a lot of easy shots.

    If our second unit is:

    MJ
    Head
    Bonzi
    Hayes
    Mutumbo

That's better than some teams in the East. You have Boards, inside game, outside threes, and a great penetrator.

I think one thing that our depth has over a lot of different teams is how young they are. Mutumbo is ancient, but Hayes, Bonzi, Head, and MJ are either entering their soph years (usually when a player breaks out) or in their prime.

I believe in 2002, the Kings had 7 people who averaged double figures.

    Yes, their depth was incredible.

Thanks for sharing. I always liked Mike James. I was sick when we traded him away for Reefer.

Man...asking MJ about SF3 is like putting Kid Rock and Tommy Lee together at the VMA's...you just don't go there!

    j/k

When I think over and over again I always say oh what team we have :D
We're glad that MJ is back and Francis too.
Hmph he didn't say anything about Rafer?! :D
