Man you guys are a tough crowd....
So now all the blame is on T-Mac? LOL yeah right...

I have to point out a few things; one nobody else can make a basket on the team AND with the new allowance of double teams its pretty hard to create if your other team mates can't make a basket. Soooo.....its ok to be a little down due to the status of the team but the other guys need to step it up now and make some shots and once they do it will be easier for T-Mac to make them better.

Before you throw out those standard reasons, maybe you should consider the following:

First, nobody is blaming Tmac here, nobody is saying that he's the reason we are having a bad start now, but rather everyone realizes WIHTOUT him was the reason we were 0-8. Everyone recognizes that TMac is our No. 1 guy. Where exactly is the blame you talked about?

Second, that nobody can shoot comment wasn't correct when most of the people were actually talking about the Denver game. The role players shot a very decent percentage, of course it was due to the fact that the defense was collapsing on TMac. But then again, your copy and paste wasn't at the right time and place.

Third, what people are really worried is that the team might lose the courage to continue to fight through tough injuries. People are worried that some of the comments TMac gave might not serve the team spirit too well, especially he performed below his average (although it's already higher any average players) right after those remarks. Don't you think as a fan, one is allowed to have such concern?

People won't be talking too much about Bowen, but rather about TMac, especially when Yao is down as well. During tough period, you probably shouldn't have expected rosey talks only.

I must be watching different games. Talk is cheap? If it's more about effort and not necessarily results, T-Mac is doing anthing possible without jacking up shots like Kobe, AI, etc. He is TRYING to get his guys involved. The only time he wasn't trying is when coach threw in the towel and put scrubs in with about 5 mins left. Would you rather them keep him on the floor so we can risk losing him too?

The man is trying, and in my world, that speaks volumes. I find it hard to dog someone for trying. But if you see he isn't trying, your view on it. I'm extremely frustrated with the team's performance, but I also have to remember, we are putting out a 3rd string team on the floor every night now...

This is it exactly!!! When the going gets tough how do you respond. Tmac is the guy that is suppose to carry the Rockets to where they want to go. If your main guy lacks toughness and heart when faced against tough situations, how do you expect him to lead the rockets to the promise land. I more concern with the fight in Tmac. The last two games he didn't even put up a fight.

Because you still have to like our chances playing against a not so tough schedule with T-Mac in the lineup

Everyone's going crazy after two games

Sure they were bad losses, but the Rocket's will come around without Yao

You better believe T-Mac is going to bring it

Best post of the thread. When Head and Wesley start making shots you'll see a break out game point-wise from T-Mac.

I was talking about if Rockets lose tonight, we should rest T-mac till yao back.
Playing Utah at home, with two days rest, and Utah played last night, If we lose, what can you expect from this group, and why not let T-amc's back gets fully recovery?

I certainly think Head and Howard would be getting decent playing time on other teams. For a rookie, Head is playing extremely well especially considering how much the team is relying on him. Howard had a great game against the Raptors. Swift on the other hand is a huge disappointment. How in the world did CD and Rockets management not see this?

on the flip side, when tmac does take shots, his shooting % has been horrible the past couple of games. Double teamed or not, when you're struggling, you gotta go for the high % shots instead of keep jacking those 3's.
I agree he's getting all the heat cause he didnt back up his talk and plus whoever he passed to, it's someone who's cold and couldnt make a bucket. The thing is, the laker's almost a 1 man team, but they're still at least above .500. Yes tmac shoulda just kept his mouth shut cause he should know better teams gonna double his ass all the time now. Bottom line, we're struggling now as a team, so even with deke back in the lineup, the result wont change unless we hit some freakin shots and be more aggressive offensively.

HEAD'S STRUGGLING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM. HIS 3'S ARE PATHETIC NOW, NO WONDER TEAMS ARE LETTING HIM SHOOT. HOWARD'S ALRIGHT BUT NOT REALLY A STARTER MATERIAL NOW. BOWEN STILL BRING ZERO OFFENSE AND WESLEY'S AINT ANY BETTER THAN HEAD ALSO. AS FOR THAT SORRYAZZ SWIFT, WELL, AT LEAST WE DIDNT GIVE HIM A CATO CONTRACT. CAN SOMEONE FROM THE ROCKETS COACHING STAFF TEACH THIS LOST CHILD SOME POST MOVES OR PLAY D WITHOUT FOULING!?!?

i love tmac. tmac is the f*cking man. but he hasnt been giving his all these past 2 games. he needs to assert himself, he shouldnt allow defenses to take him out of games.

He looks tired, maybe he should drink some caffeine or take stimulants.
