Although I agree with you, and I have high hopes for this season as well.

Just as our coach has to play to strengths and around weaknesses, opposing coaches are looking to exploit our team's weaknesses. It's down to whoever executes their game plan the best.

you're telling me that in 11 weeks when the playoffs come around his pinky is still going to be a problem? Please, he'll just tape the digit to the next finger and play fine.

The problem that plagued the Rockets the past 2 playoff series : 2 players that can get their own shot!

    Dallas: multiple players
    Utah: multiple players

how about Tracy's lack of desire to drive to the basket and shot selection (settling for 18 ft jumpers)...

he usually shows up in the playoffs so u shouldn't be worried about him and tries 110%.

we all have to learn to overlook his intensity during the reg. season b/c it's up and down. it's frustrating, but what can u do? i just want him healthy and in shape going into the playoffs. he'll deliver the numbers.

we just need the role players to continue to improve and deliver consistently to provide help for tmac and yao.

^ This is the absolute truth!! This is also the reason it has taken so long for the team to get Adelman's system and make it work. We did not have players in the rotation willing to or capable of creating their own shots. That is a pre-requisite of a free flowing offense. If we rely on two players to create for everyone else then it will seem the system is not working and the coach is not doing his job. With Scola starting and Bonzi, Landry, and Brooks in the rotation (AND Rafer getting more consistent in scoring) we are seeing a difference in our team and are winning games. All those (new) players can create on their own. If we can move Snyder for another capable role player (PG/SG type preferred) we will be set.

Unless Tracy picks up his game NOW, we might not make it to the playoffs.

u seriously think so huh? this team is better than the past. they don't need tracy to do everything and handle the ball 90% of the time.

u gotta remember, through all of his career, he has the ball in his hands 85-90% of the time either creating for his teammates or for himself. that is not the case with this offense.

that's a big adjustment for ANYBODY. can u imagine lebron being in this offense and not having the ball in his hands every second of the game? even in the ASG he needed the ball.

I agree. This could be as many as a 5 or 6 team possibility of being the WC representative in the NBA finals. Depending on who gets hot and executes the best in crunch time! (SA, Phoenix, LAL, Dallas, Houston, Denver).

It's just DAMN I don't want to see another one and done. It's VERY important to get this monkey off T-Mac and the Rockets' backs THIS YEAR! It is time for T-Mac to **** or get off the pot because, otherwise I don't think he'll be back next year! Just my opinion ...

With Rafer, I believe we might be able to get past the first and possibly the second but NBA finals much less, WC finals I highly doubt it! I also hope Denver does NOT get Artest. If they get him then, that pushes Denver and San Antonio to the head of the class IMO unfortunately! :(

I'm not pessimistic about what you're saying DaDa, just realistic. Rafer even at his best is only in the top 30-50% of all PG's. I've waited for 3 years for this guy to show something and frankly, it's not going to happen.

With Rafer, it is what it is and what we've got with him is the best it's going to get! He's not good enough to challenge much less compete with playoff-caliber worthy counterparts.

He's workable! Workable doesn't get you championships!

^^Good points! If we don't make a big trade and get a guy who can be our 3rd option and even our 2nd option when Mac wants to take the day off we won't go far. If Mac goes down again chances are we miss the playoffs all together. In the past the saying, "We'll go as far as T-mac takes us was true and it still is for the most part." We need a good 3rd option because we could be wasting this season without someone who brings it every night. Let T-mac be the facilitator he wants to be.
