Eddie Jones was not traded for Kobe. He and Elden Campbell were traded for Glen Rice and some scrub PF that also played for San Antonio at one time.

I'm not saying Isiah did a great job, but this Heat team isn't that much better than the Boston team that the Pacers lost to. If the Pacers lose this series, they are going to have to ask themselves some serious questions, first one being, "is Jermaine O'Neal truly a franchise bigman?" The Pacers, with the exception of Ron Artest, looks like the classic team that is built for the regular season. The have a lot of depth, but no truly great player to carry them in Crunch Time. I just don't think O'Neal is that player.

Eddie Jones and Caron Butler were both out for that game.. so I think JVG's quote holds true.

Ppl, what if the Rox management listened to Francis and Cat and pulled a trade of Yao for Odom two years back???

Just think what the Rox team will be like today... Of course the Heat won't have LO now.

Umm. that actually would be a good team. It would be Amare, Odom, Cato-Kandi, Steve, Cat.

Not my kind of team, but still a great team. You can't argue that.

They would be not very smart, but very talented. They could get to the second round.

A smart team would make them self-destruct.

Miami got good talented atheletic lenky players in Odom, Wade, and Butler. They have good role players such as Jones, Skip, and Grant. One thing for sure is that Miami does not really have a personality. They just come out and play hard... I just don't think how much they can improve by doing it so. They have good players but I just dont see them as a solid team.

But man.. have to agree that they got some freakish atheletic people there. I remember when Butler was drafted in 10th pick (?), and said during the interview that he would make everyone who skipped on him feel bad for not picking him. More and more i see butler play, he is going to be something. He is going to be another Ron Artest type of player it seems

Based upon the fact the we split the season series with them and we stumbled into the playoffs and IND was 5-1 vs MEM, DAL, & DEN? Was it the fact the JO had 31 in our win while Artest was the 2nd IND scorer with 9? Or was there some other fine detail which I overlooked that makes us superior?

the rockets would be playing in the east finals were we in that sad-ass conference. no doubt in my mind. miami has some nice players and they're playing with alot of heart but they wouldn't have even made the playoffs in the west.

I would say the Rockets would be the 4th best team in the East (almost on par with NJ). They would get the 2nd round and probably lose in 7.

With so many dumb players on the team, mistakes will be plenty down the stretch, the Rocket can NEVER play 100% in clutch time.

    So is Rox @ 80% > Indy???

    No way!

I really dont think Rox could have beaten Lakers evenif Jim Jackson made that 3. Lakers are just way better team than Rox is .........................................
