I'm pleased to report that on the two seperate occasions I've read the new posts in this thread, I've immediately had to get up and take a **** afterwards.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I laughed myself to tears yesterday when reading this thread for the first time all the way through.

    #2. Comments:
I wash my right arm all the way up to my elbow. I used to wash my hands and right arm TWICE every time. Gave that up about a year ago.

My favorite time to do it is in the morning before I get into the shower, which led me to another habit: Taking ALL of my clothes off while sitting, not just my shirt. I always read the paper while sitting. Must have something to occupy myself.

Someone said they like to bath afterwards. I sort of understand but that is extreme. But I refuse to do it AFTER I shower because it feels like I'm negating the shower. If I feel it coming on in the slightest, I'll delay the shower until after I finish. For me, the feeling of having to go after showering is horrible.

At work, we used to have to walk about 3/4 block down a long hallway to a shared bathroom. It was tough if you had an emergency. We only had one key and a couple of times I left the office and took it with me by accident. 6 months ago, we had a private bathroom put in our office.

I'm in the habit of either skipping breakfast or eating very lightly. One big advantage is I never have to go after I leave for work. Eating a sizable breakfast ruins my day by forcing me to go at work or, if I'm out on sales calls, some public place. I hate public restrooms with a passion.

Lastly, while I'm not Howard Hughes (like having bruises on my hands from washing too much), my hands are dry because of how thoroughly they get washed. In the winter I get exczema and have to use a steroidal lotion on my hands. I also use paper towels on the door handles in public restrooms.

    Showers....

If you have any amount of hair around your o-ring, then a shower is pretty much necessary to come completely clean. So I understand those of you who feel the need to shower. Otherwise, you'll be visited by your buddy Dean Gullberry for the rest of the day. If you have a baby's @ss, then just regular TP should get you clean enough. The wet wipes are a good idea... but I don't think i'd carry them with me at work.

You guys worry too much about your crapping situation. Scheduling what you eat, and when you take a dump is controlling your lives. Don't worry about taking showers afterwards. Just go when you need to, and wear dark boxers to hide streaking.
