At any rate, I found a number of right-wing websites that state that the woman was a LaRouche supporter. One of those sites alleged that the woman was a plant set there to make Barney Frank look good. Now I would like you to confirm that all the townhall screamers are LaRouche supporters - because many of them are saying precisely the same thing and it's difficult to believe that LaRouche has that much support. and basso ... it's unlike you to call someone stupid on this forum! usually you maintain your composure. Hopefully you're having a better day today, because I didn't read enough right wing blogs and I think this forum needs you to copy and paste some more.

Anybody think that the corportate elite may come to regret the unleashing of the hate from these birthers and gun nuts. Many of these undereducated underskilled folks have been hurting for years in an economy in which minimum wage has stagnated, unions have been busted which previously allowed them to make a living wage. There is a great need to redirect their frustration to anywhere but the corporate policies of the GOP and the Blue Dogs and other DINOS. This could be the birth of serious fascism movement in this country as the GOP becomes beholden to the energy, hateful to be sure, that they provide.
I think what it shows is that President Obama does not understand the psyche of parts of America. I agree with that much. Obama gave the people far more credit than they've shown they deserved. He never imagined that they would fall for the lies and misinformation they've been fed. Sadly, many of these people have bought into the idea that their freedoms have been restricted or that this is some kind of govt. take over of health care. They've also apparently bought into all the lies that go along with that, and are now acting irrationally. President Obama didn't imagine that there would be so many idiots out there.
I really don't know. The Democrats are weak. They seem to be bending over to get the Republicans on board, and the Republicans just keep trying to get more and more taken out of the bill, and still won't get on board. The Democrats need to realize that no matter what they do, the Republicans wont' jump on board this health care reform, despite their lip service to the contrary. It's time to expose them, they way Dems were threatened to be exposed for not being "patriotic" or not "supporting the troops" if they opposed Bush's policies. I think while doing this, they need to also heavily publicize all the steps they were willing to take to work with the Republicans, how the Republicans obstructed, and why the harsher tactics were necessary.
