Behind a restaurant, 3am, sometime in 1984: (Scanned photo, it lost a little clarity being scanned) Two views of the pier, one from land, one from water
behad the first picture is awesome. ill try to relate one time to you guys that was really neat. me and several people were outside a movie theatre; back behind the building i beileve. and we all were sitting facing the wall but laying down with our butt's up against the wall. with our legs laying or propped on the all. anyways it seemed to all of us that we were standing on the wall. and looking up at the sky with the stars. maybe it somewhat was like you were on a skyscraper and the stars were all around you. very very cool though.
I like the second shot best, Behad. The pier looks like it's floating on the water and not connected to the shore at all.
The scan doesn't do it justice. These were taken with a 15 second delay on the lens, because it was quite dark out there. See the beam of light in the upper left hand corner? It appears to be lighting up the entire area, but in fact it wasn't. You had to be there..and be in the same condition we were in.
Wow, those pics are awesome! My friends and I always take pics when we are in 'altered' states. We even have video of one night, but it is scary to watch. The only hallucinations I consistenly used to get is thinking that everyone is wearing glasses. It's weird but apparently it happens to quite a few people. Oh...and that music is from Beverly Hills Cop, isn't it?
This would be a closer approximation to some of the visual distortion one might experience: http://www.theforumz.com/forumz/showthread.php?threadid=8365
We have an audio tape of 4 of us asking the deep phylisophical question: How do frogs in Africa know to look like frogs in the US? This went on for 30 minutes. Hysterical.
I tried acid a few times in high school and this file is really close to what you see, among other things. Pretty cool.
Only did it once on my sixteenth birthday. Didn't see any weird visions or anything. It was just like laughing gas.
So......uhhhhh.......has anyone ever done the trashbag thing where you roll up a trash bag, tie a real tight little knot in one end, then tie another knot right next to it, and then keep tying knots until you have a long string of knots. Hang it from a cieling in a completely dark room over a bucket of water and light the bottom?
No. Have you ever put four 48" blacklight tubes over a ping-pong table you painted with black-light paint... all the lines, the outline of the net, the rims of the paddles and the balls and then played for hours? Now that is a trip!
Pole, that is an awesome sound that it makes. However, I would caution you about doing this inside. Not only is it an incredible fire hazard, but the fumes released by the burning plastic can be hazardous.
No, but me and KingCheetah hung out in a pitch black raquetball court with one of those frisbees with lights on it. That was pretty b****in... (I have only a billion other stories like that...)
Behad = Moses Were you walking on water for that second picture? Also, it looks like a different pier. The first photo has the pilings cut off at angles and the second photo has them cut off flat on top.
