Always wanted Mobley over Jalen since Cade went 1st. Hindsight is 20/20 but now it would've been nice to have drafted Scottie Barnes.

Oh, I am sure there are, but there are just as many like Yao who I was on right away, and Scola - same thing - when you are a fanatic, you win some, you lose some.

I honestly rarely look back or give a ****, as times change, takes change, and the past is the past, can't wallow in that.....

Mobley would still be the correct pick over Scottie Barnes. Mobley is a beast man. Elite big/long defender and like a 40% three point shooter, unfair lol.

I thought Charles Barkley would get us another championship back in the day. I was so certain of it that I bet decent money at the time on it with a colleague.

During Yao draft, there was some talk of trading the pick for Lamar Odom. I was sort of in favor of that as it fit the running style of Francis and Mobley at the time.

I was also very high on the Eddie Griffin pick, super excited, thought we got a gem.

I absolutely hated the Battier trade for Rudy Gay. I couldn't wrap my mind around it. I stayed up all night reading about it and cursing the team. Literally all night, didn't sleep at all not one minute. In the morning went to the gym for their "yoga" class to calm myself down before going to work (I've never done Yoga in my life prior to this LOL). I thought Rudy had the potential to be a ridiculously good player, but he underwhelmed in the NBA. Could have been way better than he was if he applied himself more, he had all the tools. Still not a huge fan of that trade but don't feel too bad about it as Battier ended up being a fan favorite and a hard-working player for us and Rudy didn't quite live up to the potential.
