Maybe pizza once a month... though with a new Thai place in town, that carry-out number may jump quite a bit.
There are some months I go without ordering out, and some months that I do it almost once or twice a week... So on the average, a couple times a month.... Especially when you're really freaking lazy, or are studying so much, you can hardly take the time to order the damn food, let alone go pick it up. Damn finals.
Wow. I can't believe how rarely you guys (or how often I) do take out/delivery. On average for dinner, I probably: 1) eat out 2x a week 2) order in 3x a week 3) foreman grill once a week 4) frozen pizza or TV dinner once a week.
I used to do it all the time when I was single. All the time. Now, my wife loves to cook and she's good at it so we hardly ever do anymore.
Ok, this poll is a little confusing. When you say take out, do you mean calling ahead to order something and picking it up? Or does picking up fast food count as take out...for example, is going to Quiznos and taking a sandwhich home considered take out? My wife and I pick up something to eat or go out at least 3 times a week....but we only get delievery/take out once a month or so.
You never know...the "Greek Pizza" at Bibas is one of the best I've had in town - gyro slices, feta, spinach, black olives, tomato slices...mmmmmmmmmm.
I had not thought of the distinction. I was thinking more of places that you call ahead. Although the Quiznos by us qualifies as take out because we call ahead.

exactly, sometimes the wierdest places have the best food, thats why i was sooo interested in finding out the location/description... i think ive had the greek pizza before, it was a takeout so i dont remember from where it was..
