I don't know, I guess having an owner burn down a 65 win team and run off everybody on the way to the worst record in the NBA in 3 years will make people a little negative about them.
Yeah honestly that makes them leaving not look nearly as bad on TF. Both guys are from the east coast and moved back while still getting paid by the Rockets and also working for a franchise that isn't rebuilding (with Tad getting to run an NHL team as well) seems pretty normal if you looked at it in a vaccuum. Also, for factual accuracy, everyone lists MDA in this group of folks who left but MDA wanted an extension. He left largely over not getting it.
Agreed. Tired of these old boomers with "experience" or whatever and like 100 Instagram followers. We need someone with an active TikTok account and one of the most eligible bachelors the great city of Houston has to offer.
Wondering what the "Tilman had nothing to do with this" (aka BobbyTheGreat) crowd think about connecting these dots. Step 1: Employee says "Houston is great but I need to think about my career" Step 2: Employee appears on an Eastern team
I decide I don’t care anymore. It’s not new that leadership change can lead to exodus of old bloods. Not giving Tilman a pass. But it’s also a style choice. It’s also a personal choice. I have decided to stick around and be a Rockets fan. There are better things to think about now.
*Record screeches* You might be wondering how the hell I got to this place, sitting next to this punk kid, listening to his theory as to why Post Malone is better than Eminem. Well I'm about to tell you how it all went down...
Wait, maybe I am ignorant about this kind of business deals. But that doesn't make sense to me. I mean, I understand if they got fired and the contract said they would still get paid. But they were walking away on their own volition. It seems to defy everything I know about employment incentive. Why wouldn't anyone who could find another high paying job just walk away?
It's called REBUILDING, and by the way Stone has already done a phenomenal job in not even a full year
Yep. Millennials would be much more creative then using family as an excuse every time they want to leave a job. They'd make a TikTok video telling the world how cool it was making millions of dollars out of not one but TWO billionaires.
