Yelp failed me... Had like 2K reviews 4 starts. people talking that these tacos were so good.. my god the worst tacos ever! has yelp ever failed you like that? Tacos el gordo is trash.

Yelp fails me all the time especially around ethnic food. I always read the reviews with it comes to ethnic places(ie. filter out reviews from white folks).
Small town reviews sometimes fail me. "The new place in town that was my favorite where I used to live" fail me sometimes, too.
Ah, okay. I've never had anything there other than the breakfast tacos, and I find those to be pretty good when doused with their red and green sauces. Doesn't surprise me about about the chips and salsa. I probably wouldn't like Tornado Taco if their prices for breakfast tacos and burritos were higher.

And the food is bad. It's not even OK, it's bad. And more expensive than you would think. We tried. We went twice, and both times it was just terrible. I was suprised because the parking lot is packed 7 days a week so I figured it had to be pretty good. But then I realized it's only packed because it's very close to several large neighborhoods and has an attached video game arcade (also nasty as sh**). Parents of young children just go there and let their kids run wild in the arcade while they drink frozen $4 "margaritas" (worst margarita ever - I think it was made with wine instead of tequila).
What did you get? I went there once, but it was so crowded, I left without getting anything. I know a bunch of people that love it.
In and out is really good.. so is hubcap.. I got Carnitas, and steak.. they just pile this guac on it.. no flavor at all. really bad
In n out doesnt fail as a burger joint but it does fail for how much hype people give it. Theyre not that damn special! Its a burger joint that puts out a decent burger, nothing more, nothing less. Im never going out of my way to eat one ever again, Ill say that much and anybody that does, is a fool.
