Truth. Almost no one knows any 'elite' people, I'm talking about the ones worth billions and have a realistic grasp on how the world works and don't possess an indoctrinated view of history. They don't eat, drink, or possess 99% of the crap that commoners are brainwashed into buying via advertisements. The elites drink unfluoridated water with a high PH (alkaline) level, like Iceland Spring (8.5+ PH) or something out of a natural, pure spring that they own. Their vegetables are organically grown, usually nearby at a farm that they own, and their meat comes from animals that they personally own. The sick beauty of what corporations do is they reap huge profits from the crap they sell us, while pursuing an agenda of soft population reduction, by poisoning the 'useless eaters', and significantly decreasing their life expectancy. Thus, we are all slaves to them, and help finance their agenda by participating in their system. I do this as well by paying taxes and occasionally purchasing something that is corporately produced, but choose to avoid this whenever possible.

Meh, warlords are often puppets of corporations and banks, much like a vast number of politicians. This is why most charities are bunk, something like 20% of what you donate ends up going to the just cause, with the rest being funneled through the system, and often financing the warlords. Would go on but this is not a D&D thread.
Thanks for replying with a source, wes. This is why you are by far my favorite conservative poster. I would say that it is undetermined that that obesity is the major health risk for the world's poor, but it is definitely growing as a concern. My guess is that starvation and the negative health effects of inadequate calories is the bigger problem for the poor taken as a whole, globally.

The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians. 4. The Italians drink large amounts of red wine and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians. 5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans,Australians, British, or Canadians. 6. Ukrainians drink a lot of vodka, eat a lot of perogies, cabbage rolls and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians. CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. For Movies, watch Food Inc and a documentary made by a French Woman called "The World According to Monsanto" For Books, Fast Food Nation obviously by Schlosser, but also read Pollan's Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food... they focus a little bit more on the science and history of the current food we're eating moreso than just the politics. There is also The Food Revolution by John Robbins.

Well yeah - note the bolding. I think that's a huge mistake on the part of the researchers. I don't buy organic to get a huge difference in food per say, but to know that I'm not ingesting large quantities of chemicals designed to kill things, and that I am not supporting a culture of farming that leaves behind enormous amounts of pesticidal pollutants that eventually wind up in rivers, groundwater, and even entombed in the soil itself. Furthermore, this study says nothing about post-processing of foods (or processed foods in general), which is where the really nasty stuff starts to appear. I'm also curious if the study addressed hormones or fat content of meats, or if the nutritional value of eggs incorporated omega-3 content.
It did nothing of the sort, and was probably in the interest of Big Agriculture. Saying organic is not healthier than regular processed food just because it has virtually the same nutritional value is a ludicrous statement. Pesticides and enviornmental issues have not even been taken into account in this study. What a crock of ****.
