    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...ied-chicken-fad-as-consumption-reaches-record

Since this is the place to talk about a big-ass Gordita, I thought I'd get the word out that Taco Bell will be offering the "Nekkid Chicken Chalupa" starting Jan. 26. And it will have a shell made of fried chicken.

This is just madness, right? Does anyone think this will actually taste good? Should those cows from the Chick-Fil-A adds be charged with a public health violation? Why doesn't Taco Bell quit being such a p***y and top this thing off w/ slabs of bacon, globules of sausage chunks, and steak and egg sprinkles?

    Discuss.

I'm curious as to how much "chicken" is actually in that shell.

    The first picture looks OK.

The second picture looks like garbage.

It's from Taco Bell, so of course it will be terrible.

Is it me or does this junk always pop up right after everyone swears off FAsT food for their new years resolutions?

I bet alcohol companies take a huge L after new years as well. They spike hard right before too. It's too hard to quit smoking so tobacco companies don't struggle.

Initially when I read the topic title, I thought they were making some kind of fried shell out of chicken skin alone. Glad I was wrong about that.

So, I can get a beef taco in a fried chicken shell if I want to customize? lol

I tried all of the double stacked last month and they were all a solid "meh" although they would fill you up for $3.

I'll try this, but I have low expectations. Most recent good new items have only been the Green Chile Burger from Whataburger and the Cajun Fried Turkey from Popeyes.

Just wanna say I love Patty Melts and Jalepeno Cheeseburgers with fries and spicy ketchup and a Dr. Pepper, Chik-fila, taco bell (dumps), stuffed crust, and burger king are all good. I don't eat that everyday, but they've all had there moments in my diet.

But to say anyone who is anti-fast food is a snob is kinda snobby. That's like saying someone is stuck up because they refuse to dress up in Wal-Mart clothes.

Taco Bell's trying to put this monstrosity on us, the people.

I guarantee you Taco Bell, this is not what you were asked for.

I'd eat a chicken fried taco with a waffle shell.

You are ahead of your time. It's the people who aren't ready

    That's actually a great idea.

Fried chicken + potato/cheese/salsa makes solid camp tacos.
