I rarely ever venture from my bounds of soft tacos, MEXICAN PIZZA (YEAH!!!), quesadillas, or supreme or stuft burritos. I don't think they have meximelts in the Southeast (yet), but it's the best Mexican food here. Of course people here think a place called Taco Casa (8 stores) is better. It's purely a cheap Taco Bell knockoff, but MUCH MUCH worse. There are some other "Mexican" places here, even with Mexicans working there. But they suck. the ground beef is gruel. If only Taco Bell had fajitas like Taco Cabana or Ninfa's.
A Meximelt is basically taco meat with, I think, 3 kinds of cheese and pico heated up till the cheese and grease run out the ends....tasty!!! When I was a kid, we used to go to Taco Bueno all the time..loved their tacomeat hamburgers(what were those called?) and their bean and beef and cheese burritos...yum yum...Bueno rocked! It's a shame that Taco Bell started up and ended up closing them down eventually..
No fans of the double decker taco??? Anyone remember the Shaq-Dream commercials during the '95 Finals?
http://www.shari.com/feasting/2002_09.php Apparently she remembers the Cheesarito. Check the second entry. "Economical vegetarians rejoiced, never knowing that in five or so years alt.fan.taco-bell would serve as their perpetual Cheesarito Wake. "
Yeah the Pay-Per-View match ($40 if I remember when we ordered it) was called off like a few day sbefore cuz Dream was "injured". It wasn't serious, but he hurt his ankle/foot I believe. Shaq would've killed him !!! ------------- Well I know what I'm getting for dinner...
good call.. The double decker taco is pretty good... Hard taco covered with a tortilla coated in bean.. holds the shards of shell together when they break...tasty! and Dream would have killed Shaq...Please, he was at the height of his power and finesse. Dream wins, no sweat.
I used to be a taco bell man but now am a Taqueria Cancun man. Or even a Taqueria Arandas man if there is no Cancun close by. What was the deal with the Chillito changing it's name to Chilli Cheese Burrito back in the day. I heard they did it because Chillito is slang for "little dick" in Spanish. Any validity to this?
