If you're not trying to come off as really angry, you are doing a really poor job. Your posts have all been really angry and aggressive lately.
Kung fu = Asians....? Isn't Kung Fu an Asian thing and yet we still get turned away? LOL We own KUNG FU b****!!
That's weird to read bc Nox held the biggest hip hop parties around. I remember seeing pics and Bieber was like the only white guy there on All Star weekend. Nox had specific nights for hip hop which was full of black people, and some latin and asian. Anyhow, I think it got shut down and reopened as something else after that Christmas murder shootout in their parking lot after a hip hop party last year.
It's Aura now and typically hard to get into if you're with dudes. Someone on FB posted on Sat that a lot of Asians were there. Nox was very difficult to get into before they sold it and started Roak. The all-star party you mentioned was when it was way past its prime. Race isn't an issue. Dress decent and tip a 20. Most guys are so cheap so that's the real issue. Tip here and there and you won't have to tip again. Places in Manhatton, Vegas, South Beach..it'll cost you up the ass to get in.
This. Common sense IMO when it comes to nightlife in any urban area. I'm black and for the most part have never had an issue getting in to places, including Kung-Fu Saloon and Speakeasy (Austin locations). Nobody batted an eye last time I was at KFS several years ago.
I don't think it's so much about well dressed black men not getting in somewhere, it's about white people getting in wearing sneakers, sandles or shorts while blacks are told they are violating dress code.
KFS is holding a Rockets viewing party. Wonder if they read this thread and had a viewing party for the damage control.

Dang, so apparently this was the original poster for tonight, but was immediately taken down and changed.
LOL what about the dress code? Since rockets fans are probably in tshirts and sneakers. Is this Minority Night?
Someone Tweet at the Rockets and yell at them about this endorsement, lulz. If this was the NFL it'd page 1 news, 24/7, for the next 3 weeks.
Damage control for sure... "I'm not racist... I love watching basketball games... Plus some of my best friends are black." -KFS
Ha. I haven't been out on Washington since Walter's closed down (I'm kidding, was at Laurenzo's the other day) but I'll actually be heading to Woodrow's over there tonight in case you want to drop off a doggie bag.
