I thought that too at first, but that van in front of them swerved out of their way at the very last moment.
Why did the K9 guy bother bringing the dog out? I'm sure if he had dumped the car and ran into a wooded area, as often happens in these things, then he would be needed. But the guy was already on the ground and being cuffed when he got there.
The lady in the other car wasn't the one driving. And from the passenger side, she probably wouldn't have been able to see him until right before.
I was at work, had to take a call for someone ( damn my bilingualness)) and wasn't able to come back in time to see the crash...wasn't as eventful as I had hoped though.
thanks dave, you're the man. and by the way, is this what rick fox does now that he's retired? take cops on high speed chases?
Only Another Brother can turn a car chase into: 1) A gratuitous political/classist jab at another poster 2) A post full of stereotypes 3) A slam directed at the police Another Brother, I'm not sure what brought this on, but the fact remains that I am far funnier than you. Don't be jealous or vindictive. You need body language, mannerisms, expressions, voice intonation, and frankly, appearance, to be funny. The_Conquistador? No, no, no, senor. Words and intellect are enough for The_Conquistador!
I've never claimed to be funny. I make money provoking reactions and you routinely prove how well I do this. I extend my apologies if you were at all offended. Drive Safely.
No, but nice try. I'm actually Another Brother's dad. I passed down to him about half of my jokes -- the weaker ones, obviously.
Well ****, they cut into my VinceRadio610 listening time, and then I spend 30 minutes watching at work to no avail, only to get up and then miss the whole thing. :\
Actually, the whole chase brought back terrible memories of the whole OJ chase in '94 where the local TV station (in CS, TX) interrupted the Rox vs. Knicks to show the DAMN car chase instead of the game. I vividly remember sitting in my driveway listening to Gene while looking through the window at my big screen TV waiting until the damn chase was over and they put the game back on. Unlike Houston, they didn't split the screen and show the game on half the TV, but only showed the chase. Damn the Waco NBC station (our local feed). To this day, this still makes me irate!
