I don't believe in that if the person is younger they have more potential crap. Hell look at Jonathan Bender. The guy had sooooooo much potential and look at him. To me honestly how much potential can a guy have if he is always getting injured. Love was hurt last year and now he is hurt again. 2 years straight ever since being drafted. Yeah he has potential alright. Potential to be an injury prone player.
Reminds me of Tracy McGrady and his stay here. Like said and done, I'll take Love over T-Mac on my team 100 times out of 100.
If the Rockets wanted to pull the trigger, waiving/trading Dorsey/Cook beforehand would be an afterthought.
I'm starting to believe you are only a fan of the Rockets, because and only because of Tmac. I mean......You bash other players including players on the team you are talking about to prop up your weak kid Tmac. You talk about Tmac and only Tmac in all of the posts you've created, and if you didn't mention Tmac, I'm sure it has something to do with him. I'll put you on ignore.
You must be young. LOL post ive created. LOL me bashing other players. LOL this is a McGrady thread obviously McGrady is going to be the focal point. LOL wow.
You missed me fall out of my chair. I know you were just proving a point but if that offer somehow found it's way to the table i'd have a meltdown.
Why do they need to win right now? Bad teams generally build up their team through the draft. Thunder: Durant, Green, Westbrook Kings: Thompson, Hawes, Evans Grizzlies: Conley, Mayo, Gay Clippers: Griffin, Gordon The only exceptions I can think of are the Celtics, who traded their lottery picks for KG and Ray Allen. In other words, no, the Timberwolves are not going to become magically good by adding McGrady. In fact, they'd be a hell of a lot worse off without Al Jefferson (not to mention the rights to Rubio.) The ONLY reason I could ever see the TWolves wanting McGrady is if they believe they could get him on an extension - I don't see Minny being a hot FA place. But that said, they sure as hell wouldn't trade Al Jefferson (and trading just Rubio is iffy) for McGrady. In your scenario above, what would they add to that? I just don't see McGrady being worth losing the #5 (Rubio) pick in the draft for them. Or a top 5 pick if you're going to ask for their 1st rounder.
Funny how the two teams that are supposedly interested in Tracy have nothing worth trading for (do not say Al Jefferson as that is unrealistic).
There is nothing remotely interesting on the Wolves besides the big man. Ramon Sessions...possibly. Brian Cardinal...no.
