Did you see the Box of the last Wolves game?

KG took 26 shots (29pts, 19rbs)! That's a lot for him, especially when you look at the amount taken by the other guys. Sounds like KG is just free stroking now.

I love it...he's on my fantasy team. The new Kevin "Jack" Garnett. He's highly efficient, even from the perimeter. I just love the quote, "To Hell with the offense." It's like saying screw the coach, I'm just going to take over the game my way.

He basically voiced his frustration at their offense a couple of days ago, taking a shot at Dwane Casey.

Kim, Casey isn't the guy right now, and maybe he should go to Portland and rejoin Nate McMillan. But in the future, I'd keep him in mind if I were NBA franchises. He's got a decent basketball mind and knows how to get players to max out on defense. On offense, he is only part of the problem but clearly he isn't very creative. Tell you what, in his 2nd go round as a head coach, he may do well.

He needs to pick up a Tex Winters, offensive coach to help him.

It's not like the T-Wolves were a terrible defensive team under Flip and that Casey has turned them into some sort of Juggernaut out of nothing. That 2004 team was great, and would have made beaten the Lakers in the Conference finals were it not for Sam's injury, imo. The Lakers still had a healthy Karl Malone and were really good in that series...they also had a guy named Shaq. Kareem Rush also had the game of his life in game 6. All in all, it was the T-Wolves' lack of offense that did them in...too many turnovers and not enough scoring without Cassell. Seriously, when you have KG on your team, everything is easier on defense. I think Kelly watches all the Bulls games and some of everything else, and then looks at the stats. So of course, he'd think the T-Wolves are pretty good on D considering they dismantled the Bulls this year in Chicago. I saw that game too. It doesn't take a defensive genius to say, "Hey KG, go shut down their best players".

I agree with you completely on Sam and the Laker series. But that team had a lot more talent than they do now. Look, I'm not trying to give Casey too much credit, but I think he's a decent coach. He probably needs to be fired, regroup and try again with another team. Hopefully he realizes his limitations on coaching offense and will do better next time around.

They should just rebuild. They selfishly kept him hostage so long, now even the organization can't benefit by keeping him.

Trade him for expirings and young pieces. Trade Mike James, Marko Jaric, Troy Hudson, Mark Blount, everyone.

Only people to keep: Randy Foye, Eddie Griffin, Craig Smith, etc...

Get a high pick this summer. Get a high pick and a young player out of KG. Get cap space out of everyone else.

I'm sure the Bulls will deal them a couple of good players and PJ Brown's contract.

It's horrible how they ruined his career.

On the flip side, if he had taken this attitude when he had talent, then maybe he would've won a ring by now. He thinks he's doing something outrageous at the moment when the reality is this is what they've been asking of him the whole time.
