    Medical Watch:

    • G Tracy McGrady began the on-court portion of his rehab from microfracture surgery, adding some cuts and shooting to his workouts with Tim Grover in Chicago.

(found in an article written today on yahoo: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=teamreports-2009-nba-hou&prov=sportsxchange&type=team_report)

Anyways, i dont know if you guys have thought about it.. but our team AS IS, i think, is better than the Sacramento team that RA had.

    David Anderson = Vlade Divac
Chris Webber > Luis Scola (Scola has much better defense)
Peja Stojakavic > Battier (Peja couldnt play defense if his life depended on it)
    Doug Christy < Trevor Ariza
    Mike Bibby = Aaron Brooks

I think this team compared the one that went to the Conference Finals against the Lakers is a better team only because this team plays great defense! I'm not saying that we'll make it to the conference finals, but i think we'll be at least top 6 just because this team plays hard and plays great defense. That will keep them in a lot of the games. And i think our team is just a lot quicker than the Sacramento team.

Oh man, if this was a joke you got me. Otherwise, I question how much you remember about those Kings teams.

HAha dude you have no idea what you are talking about. Please look up the Kings defense for years 2001-2004. And your comparison is hilarious.

I typed out an explanation but realized it would probably do no good because, man, that was just too much. Please research it yourself. You'll be surprised by your findings!

wow... Scola has much better defense? really? I thought Odom and Aldridge owned Scola big time. Scola is a very good offensive rebounder though. Regardless, he is not even in the same league as Webber was during Sac's heyday under Adelman.

Bibby = Brooks?? You must be kidding... Bibby almost single handedly beat the Lakers with HUGE baskets, one after the other. There is NO comparison. Also Doug Christy's D was was Battier brings to the table while Peja's offense is way better than Trevor's. That team my friends, is a WHOLE lot better than what you have lined up for us.

According to your analysis, Sacramento was still better than this team. You have 2 greater thans for the Kings and 2 equalizers.

    hahahah...

Just think about it. I know the Kings TEAM defense was pretty good..i'm not denying that it wasn't any good, and im not saying their defense was non-existent. They were at least top 10 each year, if not higher. But individually, i think we have better one on one defensive players on our current roster with more athleticism. You cant seriously think that PEJA in his prime could play better defense than Shane/Ariza. And you cant tell me that Doug Christy's a bigger offensive threat than Ariza. That's all i'm trying to say. And we know DEFENSE wins games.

Mike Bibby's first year under RA, he averaged 14ppgs...which was Bibby's 4th year...each year as a starter. From what i saw in the playoffs from AB, he can easily put up those numbers in his 1st FULL YEAR as a starter. AB will put up at least 15-17 a night this year.

I think the battle between Chris Webber and Scola can go either way. Webber was the focal point in that offense. And we've seen Scola can put up some big numbers when he has the ball. And this year, he'll be the focal point and he'll put up at least 18 and 10.

Agree. Alot of his comeback is going to come down to how long it takes him to get his confidence back and throw caution to the wind. The added muscle Grover has put on him should help Tracy play out the block with much more frequency. Tracy is still one of the most gifted athletes to ever play the game and he could probably get a triple double on one leg more often than most people would think, but he needs to play hard all the time and he needs get over some of the mental hurdles that have haunted him over the years. Those pictures are very encouraging.
Could this be why the rockets are playing hardball with Von Wafer?

I think Tmac will return in December. We'll be in a rough spot of the usual 4-5 losses in the row. I predict Tmac will start coming off the bench and playing a "Eddie House" type of role for awhile. He'll be working on getting his shot off again and elevating with a new knee.

Hopefully, I'm wrong and Tmac comes back healthier earlier, with a team-oriented mindset, or he rests long enough to where Morey can trade him for soemthing to build with for the future.

Yeah you're right..he almost did.. but also look at the experience factor that Bibby had.. Bibby had started every game in his career. In his 4th year as a full-time starter. AB became a full time starter in the middle of the season and still gave the Lakers problems. You give AB another year, i think he'll be much better than Bibby.

    or a little constipated..

but either way he appears to be actually doing something; so who knows maybe he can come back ready to go at some point in the season.

You guys DO KNOW what ">", "<", "=" means right? You guys are making it seem like i'm saying that everyone on this roster is better than Kings team. That's not what i'm saying...

He better get some work in. Notice the Big KOBE #24 Poster against the Wall; that should be plenty of motivation and a way to measure his heart and desire against Kobe's. He should also shave; nobody wants him playing shirtless and scratch his shoulders with his beard setting him back another 6 months due to injury. 4

Morey,, Morey,,, Go Get Amare and Barbosa...

    LOL what a joke.

Anderson is still an inknown commodity. Divac is one of the best passing big men ever and a Euro's idol when it comes to flopping.
Webber is borderline hall of fame material.
Stojakavic absolutely crushes Battier offensively even with the defensive liabilities, he's far superior.
Christie is Battier level defense with the ability to play the point or SG, a better 3 point stroke and much much better passing ability. The guy was Toronto's PG during the VC era.
And Brooks cant touch Bibby when it comes to offense not to mention how clutch Bibby was in the playoffs. Brooks can definitely penetrate better but Bibby's shooting in the playoffs was untouchable.

That Kings team wouldve won a championship if the refs had chosen not to screw them over. This Rockets team will be a bottom feeder playoff team.
