Thank you for asking...I didn't want to sound stupid and find out the source was already given out somewhere, but yeah....where do these pics come from? Why are they in such good quality? (somebody mentioned, I think, that a professional photographer is following is recover process...for what...I don't know) Why is there a guy videotaping his recovery? Who's doing this?

someone said it's going to be documented ala dwade's style so there's cameras following his workout.

grover is very well-known so i think it's another way to advertise himself. there were videos of him working out with wade last year so this is not surprising.

If he shaved, people would end up asking, "Why is he wasting time shaving? He should be rehabbing!"

Seriously, why doesn't Tmac release some his rehab pictures on his own website? I think many players (e.g.,Yao and Manu) release pictures during their rehab so that fans can know their progress.

Skillzlab Adds T-Mac and Taps into Obama’s Call for Personal Improvement

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Skillzlab.com announced today that seven-time NBA All-Star and Houston Rocket Tracy McGrady will be the first of the site’s featured Professorz, a virtual-mentoring role that McGrady says was inspired by President Obama.

"When I heard President Obama say, ‘The answers to our problems don't lie beyond our reach. They exist in our laboratories and universities,’ I felt compelled to answer his call,” said McGrady.

Skillzlab and McGrady will introduce and promote the “Z Factor,” an element of the unique Skillzlab lexicon, defining the community service and charitable efforts of both Professorz and Labberz. McGrady’s Z Factor is his charitable efforts toward Darfur, a passion project recently documented by a film crew and featured on ESPN’s “OTL.”

Skillzlab members will be able to access “Professor McGrady’s Lab,” where he will virtually instruct on subjects such as Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, Mental Preparation, Equipment, Life Skillz and his hobby, Playstation 3 gaming.

"When designing T-Mac's Lab, we wanted to make it an extension of the unique brand design that we created for Skillzlab, while simultaneously creating an experience for Labberz that becomes a fun space devoted to self-discovery and empowerment," said Jessica Boylston-Fagonde, President, RuConcept, INC.

T-Mac’s Lab will also feature a special section granting Labberz unprecedented access to the rehabilitation of both his knee and shoulder, while documenting his return to the hardwood in November. Video of both surgeries will be made available on the site, as well as video and blog updates from McGrady regarding his progress.

"For everyone who doesn't have access to universities and traditional laboratories, and even for those who do, Skillzlab will be a virtual-laboratory where a culture of leaders who find empowerment through continued personal development will be invented," added McGrady.

The site will be available at www.skillzlab.com sometime in July.

About Skillzlab: Skillzlab is the newest form of instructional and personal development media dedicated to providing the constantly evolving athlete, entertainer, student, parent, entrepreneur and everyday citizen with access to information, instruction and advice for improving physical and mental well-being and performance, as well as important life Skillz such as team building, goal setting, mental preparation and overcoming adversity. Through the Skillzlab environment and Professorz who have a proven track record of success in their chosen fields, members of the Skillzlab virtual campus turn instruction into Skillz they can utilize to achieve their goals. Hey give the guy some credit. this is no easy deal and he looks good so far. he seems to be working hard he looks good and it looks like he is motivated to shut some mouths.

his trainer or grover doesn't matter who he works with. mcGrady motivated makes the difference and he looks motivated.

On this forum, that'll never happen. Too many haters and I'm not even a T-mac fan. For me, it's Rockets first but our superstars are treated differently.

It's good to see him working hard on his rehab for whatever reason. I hope he's right about being ready for training camp.

Yup! We really need him big time this year. Hate to say it but without a star player we are a lottery team.

Good one. he should keep the beard. It makes him look meaner which may rub off some spunk into his game. :)

All we need is to sign another bigman that can put up decent numbers and somewhat fill in yao's shoes for a little bit. If we can do that and Tmac comes back to form we will be fine. We just need to relax... He definitely looks like he is getting stronger and is looking at a Kobe/Lebron/Dwade stature. His chicken leg penny hardaway days are over...

TMac contract year, no doubt he is going to have a big year because if he fails, his career is nil. I believe TMac will get traded in the middle of the season when the Rockets are out of the playoffs.

Wow I love how I always get blamed as a "hater" when I've always declared myself as a Tmac fan.

That was just a question with a little fun sarcastic poke at Tmac on the side, not "hatin'" on anybody my friend.
