I love the inspired comments. BUT... Hit your damn FTs before you criticize anybody. He hits those and we win. Simple as that.

    agreed

TMac should hit some free throws in a game this big and it wouldn't have mattered. Though I can't complain too much about a 3 point loss minus Yao to the Mavs. That's like them playing without Dirk or Howard.

I say when Yao comes back, Mavs will be forced to put J.Howard one-on-one coverage on McGrady. I am sure Tracy in a Best of 7 Series will chew Howard over and over again as Wade did last year ;). In that sense, a deadly shooter like Head will come extremely valuable to spread the floor wide open. Its difficult to discard Alston and Head at this point, when we haven't got full horses in our disposal.

It's all about health and playoffs

Let's make the playoffs healthy and then I'll take our team against the Mavs in 6

Just stay healthy and Yao and Tmac WILL be ready for them.

that's true. problem is he's lacking drive. he's got no hustle. he wasn't chasing loose balls and his handles are terrible.

    please DON'T hate me....

but look how van gundy keeps the older players and lets the young ones go.

azubuike is killing in golden state.. and is way more athletic than bonzi. too bad... our management doesn't take many chances.

    Please DON'T hate JVG...

but look hes in a contract year even though he said he doesn't care... As well as this group does so far, I have no problem letting Azubuike go. JVG isn't gonna play him anyway. Didn't you see Novak suited up last night?

Apparently the Kings game went to Luther's Head(HAHAHAHAHAHA). Anyways, if he would have missed the little flip underhand bank shot at the King's game, we would have been saying the same things about him then. He is a clutch shooter in the fourth, but how many of those clutch shots come off T-macculate's passes? Probably most. T-mac has to have the ball in those last possesions. JVG is one of the best inbounds play inventors and it is essential that he has at least 93693659387 plays to get the ball in his hands at the end of close games. Then if T wants to shoot(preferably), T shoots. If not he gets it into the hands of our other two clutch shooters(Battier, Head). Luther cannot forget his role. It really hurt me at the end of that game, because I don't think I have ever been pissed at Luther before.

Azubuike is on a bad team. He would not have the same opportunities to get on the court and produce with us. Young players like him need to develop and get playing time or they will be ineffective. Bonzi is proven and may not fit in perfectly, but is a reliable offensive relief when tracy is out of the game.

Snyder probably could've got at least one of those long rebounds that the taller Mavs kept pulling in.

good point. that's why luther head and chuck hayes are 2 of his favorite players. he really drove yao ming into the ground too. that guy never lived up to his potential.

Sorry if someone has already posted this.

The rockets had the Mav-bricks in the penalty at the 6 min mark in the fourth quarter. I don't understand how we don't force the issue everytime down the lane. Any touch is a foul and 2 free bees at the charity stripe. JVG should have had Kirk and T-mac driving every single play.

i hear this alot so it must be true, but i don't really see it. how does our team manage to get stuck on the inbounds time after time if jvg is that great at them? it seems like any time we get pressured on the inbounds, we have to call a timeout, and even then we barely get the ball in.

What I don't understand is why JVG used up all of our timeouts when he knew it was a close game and we may need to save one..thats just ridiculous...we had 4.2 seconds left and if had a time out we could have set up a play from midcourt....

T-mac can't expect his teammates be something that they are not.. They are roll-players they can't only do certain things well, and they cannot do other things well...
T-mac is makin 20 millions a year, how can he expect a guy who makes one tenth of he makes do the same things that he does.. his teammates played hard and you can't really expect more from them other than playing hard..
guess what i am trying to say is ... they are what they are, they are uncapable of doing certain things, and their payroll indicate it..if they played hard and they still getting the blame, it's not good for the chemistry

And once again, lui provides with yet another mindless, pointless post. Whomever it was who said he "has the brain of a mouse" was absolutely right.
