I wanted to bring that up but I didn't want to jinx the Rockets. We have had all kind of problems with the Jaz for the last 20 yrs I awear now Golden State ! We have owned them for 20 yrs plus. This could be a golden opportunity but you have to get out of the first round to even think of that situation.....
Help me out here -- what does that article have to do with the Jazz series or T-Mac's recent poor play?
Evidently McGrady has checked into his OB/GYN for some of this: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070430/hl_nm/muslimwomen_europe_virginity_dc And he may need it again after this series ...
The timing perhaps. It's been a bitter pill to swallow - I think we are all a bit disillusioned with T-mac right now. Still - T-mac deserves a chance to finish out this series - and then there'll be time to rip him apart - if we get out of the first round though - it does validate what he says. Look at it this way - at least he's not Dirk Nowitzski.
lol. exposed. but after that laugh, it just feels sad. P.S. Warriors took the 3-1 leade over Mavericks now.
Most of the things that come out of McGradys mouth should not be analyzed too much. Guy came directly from high school...he is not a good speaker or analyst
Hearing Tmac saying those things really gives you a clear insight to how he thinks, which scares me a bit. He's been saying it in every interview, that this is the year he believes he has the team to advance because this is the first time his team wasn't the underdog. I'm not necessarily bothered by the fact that he forgot the 04-05 team, but more the fact that he's been going into the playoffs with a loser mentality to begin with. If you already don't believe in your chances, it's highly unlikely that you'll win. You NEVER hear of any great athletes saying the stuff coming out of Tmac's mouth.
he was wrong the first time. let's hope he's right the second time. And let's hope there's never has to be a third time. If we get out the first round, it makes what he said a few days ago valid - but I see what you are saying that it appears he's just saying what he THINKS he's suppose to say - not what he truly believes. Personally, I think the first time we had a cast of scrubs - loveable as they were, and we didn't improve much the second time around. T-mac has never played on a contender, maybe someday he'll know what it's like.
If we had a healthy Bob Sura and Mike James, this team would be a contender. Getting out of the first round wouldn't even be a question.
I agree he needs to shut up and play. And he is all talk in this series. But he still got us here and a case for MVP could easlily be made for him this yr, I think we should all reserve judgement on the whole team until we win the title or are eliminated. I am really surpised that tmac is getting more hate than JVG on the boards. I really feel that its JVG slow-mo ball that is costing us this series, that and a lack of talent besides yao and tmac. tmac will step up i hope, so will yao. Go Rockets!
Mike James would have already punched someone in the mouth!!!! God do we need at least one badass on this team to step up and body slam somone on the Jazz... You just CANNOT let someone manhandle you every trip down the court. This is Jerry Sloan to his team after game 2; "Put your body on every single Rocket, on every single play. They'll get flustered, and even if we get called for a few fouls, the refs know it's playoff time, so the team with the most aggressiveness wins. There's no way the Rockets can compete with us if we get more physical than they are. Not even Yao will be able to step up if we bang on him all game long. We've got too many big bodies to throw at them, so go out there and make sure they know who they are playing against!! I guarantee you we will come out of it with back to back wins and we might even sweep them out of the playoffs!!! Ready, Jazz win on three, 1, 2, 3, JAZZ WIN!!!"
