It is TMac who said he was ready to play and by the looks of it he is not ready. The Rockets should just be done with it and trade him. Who knows maybe TMac will improve in a new environment. I will wish him the best but the Rockets need to get something done soon instead of waiting till February because TMac will eventually not like the current situation of not playing more minutes and will make it known his way.

I don't think so. Because I am not ranting because of losses and we were having a 3 game win streak before that. It is always easy to point at the weaknesses than living it yourself. Nobody can actually post as HARD as you do.

Look the difference between me and the T-bunnies is that I will call it like I see it...

If he plays great, I will acknowledge it, if he sucks arse, like he did against Orlando, I will call it.

He stunk against Orlando, but I don't mind the stinking so much because it was a back to back....

I mind the lack of effort, that.....THAT IS FRICKEN INEXCUSABLE....

    I agree...

Well you sure are coming down on him hard after a loss. Was this your tone after the Clippers game bc I sure didn't see it? If you made similar posts after the Clippers game, please feel free to post them and I'l recant what I just said.

He is showing effort from the games I've seen. He has had a block in a couple of games. He has barely played though. It doesn't take a genius to recognize that it takes more to PT to develop rhythm. It will take time for him to regain explosiveness, which appears to be getting better game by game.

We have like 5 months until playoff time. I'm all for him taking his time to get back physically and mentally.

Also DD, who told you this was purely and solely a meritocracy? Aren't you the one who's always saying if this was a meritocracy bud would be ahead of shane and/or ariza? You say that almost after every game, now you claim it definitely is a meritocracy? So which is it? The fact is you don't decided what it is, the team decides. If they want to bring him up in that way then just have faith that they're a professional organization and will do what's best. Just because you don't like it doesn't make the worst thing in the world as you make it out to be.

Just because he lost some athleticism, speed and explosiveness does not mean he does not hustle. Where did you see that he took a break? Vince Carter is still a good player. So what when he got blown by his own cousin?
If and when he goes, it is not your business. I am a fan and I just want to see my team play whether they lose or win.

I said he played great on offense against the clippers but not so much on D....

I call it like I see it....he STUNK TO HIGH HEAVEN tonigth on both ends of the floor.....

And again.....I don't care about that so much as his lack of effort.......that is mind numbing for a guy that is trynig to EARN more playing time.

Right now, he is earning more splinters.

of course but im not sure about 150% effort on everything...its gotta be a process man. im not saying he will give it his all on hustle plays when he is 100% (im almost certain he won't haha). but i think you are unfair to criticize him for his 8 minute stints coming back from surgery that is all.

if you were bashing him for the same thing when he is 100%, i would still disagree since there are a lot of good nba players that don't go all out every play, but i could at least understand your point.

T-bunnies? WTF does that even mean? I'm a Rockets fan and until further notice, Mcgrady is a Rocket. Don't hate that some of us support players that wear a Rockets uni.

You throwing Rockets players under the bus is nothing new.

True, I will be critical of crap when I see it......

Feel free to settle for mediocrity.

Doesn't make them right....just means we have a difference of opinion.

Again Sammy try to stay on topic...this is about Tmac's piss poor play against Orlando........that is what this thread is about.

Yeah let's hope when Yao comes back he steps on the gas pedal and just floors it, hopefully he'll then crack his leg his first week because he didn't ease into it...of course he'll be screwed, the team will be screwed, and his rehab will be a total waste, but everything will be ok because he'll have shown DD he gave it his all

Again, the goal posts are moving too fast for the T-bunnies......

Excuses are like butt holes......and there are plenty of excuses being tossed around here.

Hey, if he is not ready, then bench him......

that you seem so sure that tmac should only play is he's earned his time, as if the team put on paper that is the only way they'll play someone. Ideally maybe it should be that way, but coaches play guys for more than that reason. It's not always about who's playing best or who's earned it. So let them do their job...they obviously arent freaking out about it like you are, prhaps it's because they understand it's a process and it won't be complete in a week or maybe even a month, so if they can understand that, why can't you?

Also IMO it is delusional to think that one can play consistent good defense and offense after major surgery and in 8 frigging minutes. It is a travesty that you actually care to address his performance within 8 minutes in the first quarter. One should not get too high when he make his shots and not be too surprised if he does not make them.
