Yao will be the focal point. But T-mac is a weapon that we need. We need a guy who can just force defenses into mayhem - and he can do that. You combine that with our guys who are great as moving the ball and being unselfish and who can all finish and have a few moves themselves and it makes us a very dangerous team.

But without that - the only playmaker is brooks and that is not enough.

i think mcgrady can still be a number one option, it doesnt mean he has to score, but people act like bad things happen whenever he touches the ball. I have seen t-mac throw the ball from behind the 3pt line into yao right under the basket, I havent seen anybody on this roster do that.

Ironically, this very person is the one who said "If you can't beat the argument, beat the person" or something along the lines of that.

    Typical.

Right. I for sure said its too small a sample size. Some people wondered abot his +/- so I posted it. Of course no one cares about it after they asked for it. But what can you do?

No, the dangerous combination is Ariza being a subpar to mediocre player who truly thinks and believes the Rockets brought him here to replace TMac. That is the scary part.

Imagine if Shane Battier tried to do too much or did not recognize his limits. That is what Ariza is lacking right now, he thinks he is the go to guy.

Isn't it the common complaint about Battier that he is too conscious of his limitations? So maybe with Ariza, they're trying things from the opposite end of the spectrum.

So I guess this was his last game as a Rocket!
How ironic that it was vs. Orlando.
