You have said it like 20 times in this one thread. We have 3 McGrady's threads which means 3 x 20 = 60.

Easy man, easy. Your posts record is not gonna be broken either way.

I do, I love myself a lot, and my family, and the Rockets, and even the Ostrich brigade, I have hope that you will eventually see the truth of the matter, and that Tracy is his own worst enemy.

His mouth, his actions and his lackadasical entitlement attitude.

I will keep trying though Jeff, I have hope.....

    Lol?

Ariza stunk it up on defense. Played hard? He didn't even bother closing out shooters and when his man took a shot right in front of his face his didnt even put a hand up.

Ariza played neither end of the floor.

On offense all he did was jack up half contensted jump shots, you know, the thing McGrady used to do when he couldn't be bothered trying, the thing that everyone critisised him (and rightly so) for?

    Call it both ways Ref.

I just watched T-mac on the Defensive end of the Orlando game - he played good D against Vince. He got faked out into the air once, and he lost a guy and gave up an open 3 pointer - mind you because he tried to HELP on a drive.

A lot of time he was playing away from the strong side and guarding the weak side defender...how are you suppose to play "HARD" D in that situation?

Of course you are going to stand there. If the guy you are guarding is staying outside - you can't just leave him alone until someone drives and even then, the time he did it, was the time a guy got an open 3.

I'm so tired of this b.s. "he's not playing hard on D" that is being manufactured here.

Adelman has not complained ONCE about his D. Not ONCE.

We are Rockets fans. Not Tmac only fans or Yao only fans. He is wearing a Rockets uniform and is in position to help us. Like I've mentioned, I'll continue to support Mcgrady until further notice.

Plus, I would rather be a 26 yr old G over an old fart any day. This isn't directed at DD, even though he has thrown around numerous insults to posters who back Mcgrady.

    Wow.....that must be super cool.

Seriously, people act like supporting a player is being an "apologist". I would defend any Rockets player against attacks that have been made - whether it be T-mac or Yao or those of Rockets lore.

I once questions Dada's basketball knowledge and he got very offended, and now he's throwing around insults towards other posters - it's really surprising.

Well, it must just be the holiday cheer....

    ;)

An apologist doesn't recognize ANYTHING negative about their favorite player, he/she cares more for that player than the team.

You may or may not be one Lou.....only you know for sure.

True, I am uber cool.....it is hard to fathom my coolness....because it matters so much.

    ;)

And having one "G" is cool, but having lots more is even cooler.....

No, an apologist can simply be a supporter. I've been on record saying that what Mcgrady did last season was unacceptable. It's time to move on though. He is currently a Rocket. Period.

Anyways, I'm done with this nonsense. Time to start the weekend early! :)

You know you can be a fan of a player AND a fan of the team, the two things aren't incompatible.

You are not a fan of Tracy McGrady. Well, I am a fan of ALL Rockets players that I feel can help us win.

I think T-mac can definitely help us win a championship and that our group of scrappy guys aren't enough even if you add Yao back into the mix. It's not enough. I want to contend for a ring. And I see right now our options as being T-mac or what? K-martin? Corey Maggette? None of these guys will do it.

You admit yourself what T-mac does on Offense - how he creates easy buckets. His plus/minus in this short span averages +1. That's in less than a quarter. If he played normal minutes it would be +4. Which is great.

I read your critiques and my god - you are really nitpicking. What do you want, a guy to just run around with his head cut off like a chicken - just running around without stop even if it's a complete waste of energy?

The effort is there. But I don't expect him to jump around like he's on a pogo stick when his man is just standing behind the three point line on the weak side! I mean, what the heck are you complaining about?

McGrady can help us win the championship but he can not be the focal point. Simple as that.

Where do you get this stuff? Is it all in your head? Did you even look at the video? What does hard mean to you anyway? Diving for loose balls and stuff is fine and all, but can you point out instances in the last game where there where opportunities he can dive for loose balls? He was sticking close to VC, who loves to play on the perimeter! Obviously he would be standing around if VC was just standing around, you want him to run wind sprints around the court and leave his man wide open? What the heck is your problem?

If you actually watch the video you will see that if anything, Ariza was the one slacking on both on D and O. Time and again you can see Ariza not contesting shots on D, and on O all he did was jack up 3 pt bricks. That's playing hard on both ends of the floor? I'm not advocating that Ariza should be benched in favor of Tmac, but the way you hold Tmac to the highest standards of excellence but not only give Ariza a pass, but say he's some kind of model player on probably his worst game of the season makes me think you don't watch the games at all.

LOL No wonder Samfisher is always up on your grill. You always ignore the facts in favor of your own opinion.
