    My bad. . . .

"In their first trip to the Eastern Conference Finals since 1988, the Celtics jumped out to a 2–1 series lead over the New Jersey Nets, after rallying from 21 points down in the fourth quarter to win Game 3, but would lose the next three games to fall 4 games to 2.[65]"

    MY BAD . . . EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS . . . . .. aka more than TMAC did

Excuse forgot their are not conference championships . . .

Did TMac with Yao get that far?

Hell Allen Iverson did get to an NBA championship

    Rocket River
    *chuckle* TMac apologist central

don't let it drop to TOF levels, that's when you comprehend numbers greater than zero.

What did Lebron win before getting paired with the top 5 of 2003 save for Carmelo & Darkobust? Yep. NOTHING.

You can sit there and b**** about us what if ing, but you only look ignorant to deny that Mac never had great coaching or hall of fame talent around him and how things would be different if he had that.

F Kerr. I hate that b*stard. Deal with it. I am not a TOF either tinny.

Well give McGrady was on the Spurs, failed to mention that

He could have easily chosen an even better team than the JVG Houston at that time also. So could have Yao.

You are saying absolutely nothing new and yeah McGrady and Houston was not the best combo.

    I believe that thou

I meant give McGrady a team that is No.1 or No.2 in the West

or No.1 in the East and then we are talking.

Why can't you just enjoy having very good players on the team.

It is not like Kobe Bryant ever decided to come to the Rockets.

And without horrible Kmac and Harden there would be no Dwight.

Orlando Dwight said Houston was absolutely not on his radar.

That is how unattractive the brand Rockets were before. Chris Bosh did not choose Houston. Gortat did not. Rashard Lewis did not want to come back.

Even ugly Gasol said the Rockets were never on his radar.

McGrady was one of the few guys back then that said he would not mind coming to Houston playing with a almost rookie Center Yao.

You are ToF if you think tmac should be even mentioned with LeBron.

Only ToFs think McGrady in san Antonio was even considered a contributor

You are dead wrong. Only fans are in minority.

Most of guys love the NBA although some games are rigged.

They love every other star or good players.

Nobody mentioned Lebron and you are a DOF. Delusions only fan.
    Delusions grandeur

Well I thought that gibberish nobody would understand.
You are mocking yourself with this your little rants.

2nd round your behind. That is what you are proud of.

You are obviously as good as McHale as a coach.

What Tinman said about T-Mac is indisputable. He has literally led 0 teams past the first round. No other player as gifted as him as managed to achieve as lowly as him. When asked to point out another player that was as big a failure as T-Mac, his fans change the subject.

No real beef with that. I just said that people who are pretending that one second round exit is much better than several close first round exits might be hypocritical.

At the end only Finalists get a small trophy and Winners get a ring.

Folks forget that players who are employees to organization. When players fail the entire ballclub fails too.
It is really on everybody on that team.

I loved T-Mac's game. I don't think he had what it took to be a champion. But, that is with how his story played out. His story is all about IF's. IF he had stayed healthy. IF his teammates had stayed healthy. IF he had better teammates. IF he stayed in Toronto. IF he stayed in ORL and gave Dwight Howard a chance to grow with him. IF he was just patient. IF he stayed aggressive like he had the whole game in game 7 against the Jazz in the final minutes. IF he left the Rockets on good terms, would people be so soured on him?

    My favorite IF.
IF Grant Hill was healthy, the Magic would have exited the 1st round easy. I really think they would have complemented each other so well(Better than VC and TMac). But, the IF part is really, what IF Duncan goes to Orlando to join T-Mac and Grant Hill. β€œIt was probably a lot closer decision than people even think or even know,” – Tim Duncan talking about almost signing with the Magic.
Hell if Grant never stays healthy, they had Mike Miller to fill in at the 3 still. Maybe they wouldn't beat the Lakers, maybe they could. But i think they would have won enough every year for T-Mac not to go down the path he did. I do think mental strength can be built. I think he would have been stronger in that aspect while growing with winning. Losing so much over and over can take it's toll. He just wasn't a Kobe or Jordan mentality. But, would Kobe be known for that mentality if he's drafted by the Hornets franchise instead of immediately playing with the most dominant force in Shaq? Kobe demanded to be traded after 2 losing seasons as a result of running Shaq out of town. Would Jordan if Pippen never develops and flops on potential?

But, it's all WHAT IF's. His career is over and he will always be loved by those who were entertained by his awesome individual talent and hated by those he quit on.

BTW- a fun WHAT IF is if Duncan left SA, would he be GOAT PF? I still think replacing him with KG in SA would have resulted in 3 or 4 rings as well(Pop is the greatest coach ever). Feel the same about replacing Kobe with T-Mac or Iverson or even healthy Penny. The key there was that Shaq had no real competition anymore. Just my little opinion.

you are obsessed with hypothetical situations, while i'm obsessed with the truth

Steve Kerr will make a fine coach cause he can immediately see the difference between Michael Jordan / Larry Bird vs Tracy McGrady.

Elite NBA players of all time vs Elite talent with no heart and no leadership skills
