    Excellent post

Brent didn't want to hurt Tracy's feelings? I remember David Wesley talking down on McGrady's work ethics and eating habits.

Rockets fans don't like how things ended.
ORL fans don't like how things ended.
TOR fans don't like how things ended.

    Notice a pattern?

Tracy is the SG/SF version of Shaq... without the titles.

    Historic failure.
    Up 2-0 both series...

'05- Go home up 2-0... still lose
'07- lose Game 7 on your home floor

    Historic floppage

This is as good a take on McGrady that I've seen.

On talent alone, TMAC would be a top 10 player of all time.

Would Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc EVER quit on their team like McGrady did?

I also remember when McGrady, who NEVER got out of the first rd of the playoffs his entire career, watched his team (Rockets) beat Portland and advance to the 2nd rd, and he starts popping off that the Lakers will win the series against the Rockets.

I mean who in the hell does this? McGrady!!!!

How about keep your Piehole shut and support your team. It's one thing to think it, but to actually say it?

That right there tells me he wasn't a leader, and ultimately why he wasn't a WINNER.

It's funny how you McGrady fans stick your head in the sand when it comes to these things he did. The guy was a talented player who could score with the best of them, but he wasn't a WINNER nor was he LEADER.

Jordan, Bird or Magic never did, because they played with HOFers BUT Kobe did......just like I always say, a SUPPORTING cast makes a big difference.

TMacs shooting got worse over time.

That's kind of embarrassing, to me.

THAT'S THE BEST TAKE YOU'VE HEAR! HA, HAHA, HAHAHAHAH!!! Look guy. Tier 1 competiveness does not necessarily start in practice but since you brought it up, you don't think McGrady practice on his game, you don't think he put in hours to become great, to win the scoring title in the NBA takes skills. It starts with fire INSIDE of an individual to be great. I know many of 6'8 guys who play basketball and who can jump out of the gym but never make it out of Fonde or the neighborhood gym.

TRUST ME, AS MUCH AS TINMAN, HATEMAN, OR WHATEVER CARTOON CHARACTER HE CLAIMS TO BE, I GUARANTEE YOU HE'S NEVER PLAYED AN ORGANIZED SPORT IN HIS LIFE!!! BECAUSE IF HE DID, HE KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE A TEAM, TO BE GOOD AND TO BE GREAT!!!

And you talk about PRACTICE! PRACTICE! What are we talkin' about PRACTICE! One of the most competitive 6'0 and under ballers of all time hated practice but he was competitive as hell!! Wouldn't you agree?

    Man Tracy fans are mad!

Let me give this fact, they aren't going to discuss Tracy mcgrady on a championship or MVP topics.

I'm glad you guys are discussing this amongst yourself , you guys. An grow up and become fiction writers.

If you want Tracy to win a title, go turn on your play station and put the difficulty on super easy and injuries off and quitting off.

Vince cater and Yao Ming made it past the first round without Tracy.

Shane battler and mike miller won championships.

Thank goodness for Shane , he would never win anything if he played with that broken diva his entire career.

He upgraded to lebron who's headband is better than mcgrady

You are probably glad that the Rockets got out of the 1st round.

Well take the Clippers. They play good basketball, are second round guests nearly every year.

Do fans think they are successful? Not really.

They have more balanced role players but are still a regular season 3rd place and 2nd round exit.

And the Rockets can't even beat them.

And I think it is really close in the West, they might just be one Duncan retirement away from making it to the WC finals.
Same with the Rockets from 8 years ago. They were 2nd round material.

As we know now two stars are not enough. Sometimes not even for a playoff series victory.

Things don't change fast in the NBA but when they do you got to have the right amount and mix of superstars, specialists, roleplayers, coach and management.

For a ballclub like the Rox attracting superstars is really hard. Drafting stars is nearly impossible.

Morey has done well under these circumstances.

This could go on for a while and it is sad when the only joy fans bask in is mocking their ex-players, envying role players like Kerr that had so much luck in their career.

Go to the trophy store and find one the clearance rack. Take a sharpy and put mcgrady MVP on it and give to Tracy.

He should be home, it's not like he ever works this time of year.

I've never criticized Hakeem of never leading the rockets to championships.

Mcgrady fans are sensitive like Lin fans.

When you criticize Lin , his fans scream racist!

When you criticize mcgrady , his fans scream would have, could have, if!

When Steve Kerr says basically that mcgrady is no leader like bird and Jordan, mcgrady fans think this is like saying the earth is square.

    All it is the truth

I just wish that tmac was never injured and actually got to play out his career. He could have been a definite hall of famer. yeah he was not able to take a team to 2nd round of playoffs but he got injured when he was 28/29. no telling what he could have done if he had a healthy yao ming and a 3rd star. yao's and tmac's injuries started in 05-06 season and was never able to play out a full season together. They were only able to play 1 season fully together which was 04-05 season and they were 51-31 that year. also that was the year spurs were 59-23 and mavs were 58-24... we were in the toughest division in NBA. we ended up playing mavs in 1st round and took them to game 7. Im just saying that if both yao and tmac was never injured they could have done damage in NBA. We could have had a dynasty if there was a 3rd star for them to play with.
