Are you kidding me? Lamar Odom is the most hated player on the laker fan club. That trade would make the Lakers the deepest in the league.
I'm embarssaed to call Tracy a Houston Rocket! I think the Tracy for Redd would be steal on our part. But I just don't think Santa will do use any favors. Maybe Santa could give Tracy a pair of balls.
n when we do get Redd and he plays crappy or gets injured....all the b****ing starts all over again.....welcome to Clutchfans....did T-Mac bailed out on us when Yao went down last season? Im not a Tmac fan, im a Rockets fan, a drastic change in our line up might would set us back another 1-2 seasons, do we want to take the risk? we're 19-10 this season when we were 15-14 last season and this considering we started the season with so many injury problems. lets look at the positive side n support our team through thick and thin.
The Perfect Trade http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=532~234~692&teams=15~10~10&te=&cash=15:10 Rockets Receive Michael Redd and Elson Bucks receive Cash and T-Mac.
when u make trade proposals, think of both sides. the bucks are not a team that wants tracy or tracy wants to go there. that's a young team trying to develop with no hope of success. if anything the lamar odom and tmac trade seems plausible and that could happen (ala iverson for billups). lamar is frustrated in LA coming off the bench and playing limited minutes (he asked for more minutes just last week). and their SF is their weakest position right now. so getting an up and down tracy is still good for them. and tracy would play PG in limited minutes b/c farmar will be out 6-8 weeks. and if the organization judges tracy based on a 4th game in 5 nights and trade him, this is the only reasonable trade where both sides get what they want.
I'll take Luke Walton over Odom...... I don't want players that make these kind of plays <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-gj0achocYY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-gj0achocYY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object> <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NQtRXQpZHHg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NQtRXQpZHHg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object>
luke walton is a certified scrub. watch some lakers' game please. again, only the lakers would be willing to absorb tracy's big contract right now b/c their main weakness (and only weakness) is SF. they keep putting in vlad or walton but none are working. and they don't want to put ariza in the starting lineup b/c their bench would weaken and he's not that great of a shooter. they get tracy and every problem is solved. they don't need him to do things like we need him to do things on a consistent basis in the reg. season anyways. dfish, kobe, tracy, pau, bynum. yes, kupcake would ask for that trade right now if morey wants it. i hope morey is not drunk though.
Right....Because Odom is such a star right? Odom is not even in Shane Battier's level. We aren't getting Odom you T-Mac lover.
lamar is not on odom's level? lol. your basketball knowledge must be in the gutter. this is a guy who has put up at least 16 and 10 on 55% shooting in the past 3 playoffs he has played. i can't stop laughing. and i never said it was a trade i would make. but your basketball knowledge is really bad though.
Lol at you questioning anybody's knowledge. You honestly think Odom is the same price as T-mac. I said Odom is not in Shane Battier's Level. Can you read? You should try Hooked on Phonics
I agree that the Lakers would be for it and the Bucks wouldn't. Odom for McGrady doesn't work straight up but Odom and Mihm does. This would give the Rockets cap relief in 2009 since both of these players have expiring contracts. I wouldn't go it even though it's a realistic trade considering McGrady's health because Odom is even softer than him. McGrady could possible thrive in LA but at the same time he might have problems in sharing the ball with Kobe.
what other team is willing to absorb tracy's contract? you bring up the bucks. how realistic is that. my trade proposal is more realistic b/c the lakers are looking to win now and they may not mind his contract. i never support any of these trades. and odom is not "in" shane battier's level?
I hope we're seriously looking at trades for T-Mac, but I think we have waited way too long and now no one wants to give up anything of value for a quitting, whining, chronically injured player. Redd for T-Mac would be perfect, but I'm afraid the Bucks are stupid enough to pull of that move. If they did, Morey is automatic GM of the year.
Actually Odom is VERY talented. Its just that he frequently makes boneheaded plays, has a diva complex, and plays way too soft. Tmac is still more talented. So yeah, I'd pass on Odom.
Lol is this serious? Tmac to the Lakers? Tmac playing with Kobe? Wow, Tmac then would try his hardest and freaking eliminate us in the playoffs for trading the dude. I would bet Tmac would love playing with Kobe in LA and he would try his hardest out there. If we trade him for LAMAR FREAKING ODOM, then we are basically done
