he ended up coaching the OKC Thunder to the WCF! Nice uniforms in that video, that was probably from a period in time called "Clutch City"
I believe in this dude's article of what actual history happened, do you ? http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1545/the_day_t-mac_lost_houston/
When I see that block, it makes me wonder how much of a complete player he could've been. I'm going out on a limb and say he would've been better than Lebron and MJ. The guy had everything: length, athleticism, jumping ability, speed. He missed the one thing MJ had: killer instinct. T-mac coasted through most of his career which is very unfortunate for him. He could've easily averaged 2-3 blocks a game. He even admitted he used to think he would be just a great defensive player. Then when he found out he was gifted offensively, he slacked on d. Very sad
Sorry if I'm not slobberknocking over T-Mac. He quit on the Rockets and we wasted money on the guy. And that move was just to show off. It was nothing.
See below. Here you go, Nero. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/TjbkXewxlGI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Dude, the only thing T-Mac provided for this team is his salary dump to NYK. And I'll give him credit for that massive dunk on Bradley and his 13 in 35. Other than that, didn't provide ****. And the She-Mac lovers come out.
I was at that game! Only game ive ever been too! I remember some drunk dude almost falling off the upper level, where I was lol dude rolled down the stairs and smacked into the wall lol
Check out the copious amounts of talent surrounding the big 2 we had in that era. 30 sec mark: Luther Head trying to dribble and run a fast break... 45 sec: Keith Bogans making a fast break layup look like the world's hardest shot. A washed up Juwan Howard standing around looking to shoot a jumper.
Lol @ Clyde calling Shaun Livingston "Randy". Used to be a fan of T-Mac back in his Orlando days, good for the highlight reel. Other than that, meh.
Great, great move, but I have to give proper credit: Kobe Bryant invented that move. I specifically remember him showing it off in one of his shoe commercials. And whomever said that move was nothing, you are out of your mind and never played a lick of ball in your life. The defender's instinct is to follow the ball, which is exactly what McG wanted since he would pivot and spin off of him.
Incredible talent, offense n defense, gone to waste. I personally believe Tmac didnt try hard enough to get healthy and may have something to do with his personal life cause he seemed to just gave up on his game in the end.
