I'm sorry, but I thought once a rocket, always a rocket? Esp. when the guy already retired. Btw, Hakeem got traded to Toronto, should we lock up all threads related to Hakeem from now on? What about the Deke threads, Sura threads etc.

Anyway I feel bad for Tmac, he burned a lot of bridges, but the truth IMHO is he fell in love with Houston, seeing as how he went so far as to undergo knee surgery just so he wouldn't be traded. I also like how he wrote a letter and decided to go to China with his head held high ala Starbury, instead of slinking off and being ashamed about it. I hope he pulls it together, I think he still some gas left in him to come back to the NBA again, but he obviously needs to recover from his injuries first.

He said on his facebook statement that he was not coming back to the NBA.

but then again, you can never believe anything he says.

Jerry Stackhouse is still in the league.. the NBA

I don't think we need T-Mac threads cluttering the GARM. I think the NBA Dish is probably the best place for T-Mac threads. The NBA Dish currently has threads about other former Rockets like Scola, Martin, Lowry, and Aaron Brooks. Maybe a discussion about former players and about their time here with the Rockets would be appropriate, but this thread is discussing what T-Mac is currently doing with another team, so I don't see what it has to do with the Rockets.

Tracy quit on the Rockets therefore he no longer belongs in the GARM.

As an ex-Rocket, he belongs in GARM. But just like any topic about Scottie Pippen, it's not gonna be pretty.
