Well, at least we all can agree on one thing. He deserves a chance to win a ring after the career's worth of work he put in. And when I say career......................I mean past 12 months.
He's not 300 pounds. How much does he really have to lose? If his scoliosis is too significant the 10-15 pounds he loses won't matter much, he's screwed either way. If its not tht significant, then he needs the extra muscle. 5-8 lbs less is fine, just to cut back on any extra fat or uneeded muscle, but at this point in his career some added muscle is a good thing for him.

That would be good for Tmac. i dont hold anything agianstthe guy. He was a great player while here for fun and highlights. I wouldnt mind him getting another chance to win somwhere.
