oh ****, i didnt know he was working out with Grover, i just thought he was staying there to have the surgical docs follow his rehab...if he stays there all offseason and works out with him after he's done rehabbing...WOW, then watch the ***** out...That would mean he pretty much fired Hall, his old trainer, which was one of his biggest problems...Grover has trained the best, Dream, Pip, Mike, and most recently, Wade this past summer, and Wade is at the best shape of his life. I know training and coming back from surgery are different issues, but if tmac passes the rehab, he really could come back better than ever....Grover wil change him forever..
This is... hilarious. tinman, I have very much disagreed with you about certain things, but over the last couple of weeks I've become convinced you're the most important person here. Thanks for always reminding me I'm a fan, and am damned serious about it.
thanks. i don't put myself that high on the list. when i start putting videos of myself like dadakota or drop extreme nba historical knowledge like leebigez or become consistent as durvasa or hayesfan or be a devote fan like the_yoyo you could mention me. however, you can count on me for defending the rockets legacy and speaking my mind on topics regardless if the majority of fans like it or not!
This isn't a rumor. It's an arsewhole suggestion, worst than a typical trade thread uh, here. McGrady may well be traded - but for something besides total trash taken out of the goodness of Les' and DM the GM's heart.
im not going to lie thats teh funniest thing ive read on these boards in a long time. props i lol'ed in the library
Agreed entirely. There's really no other incentive for us to pull off this type of move unless that was the case.
I'm ok w/ hughes + 1st rd draft pick, chandler + filler, curry + 1st rd draft pick or sign & trade for Lee
Your expectations are way too high. The Knicks will not give us Lee, Chandler, Robinson, or a first round pick for Tracy McGrady. I don't expect him to play another game and neither does the majority of the NBA. The only reason the Knicks do this trade is in hopes that McGrady can become half the player he was. The fact is that Isiah isn't the Gm of the New York Knicks anymore. They aren't stupid enough to trade away any young talent to gamble on McGrady. We aren't getting Wade, we aren't getting Bosh, and certainly we aren't getting Lebron. Teams are trying to trade away contracts so they can make a push for the star players. The teams with the star players aren't trying to get rid of them.
This is like the eighth time some dumb journalist has speculated about us trading Tracy and getting back Larry Hughes + others. Morey is not stupid; there is no way we trade someone of value in exchange for Larry Hughes. When you acquire Larry Hughes in a trade, your GM street cred is pretty much gone.
This article screams "credibility." This Frank Isola cat should go back to playing NBA Live. As for those talking about trading for David Lee - first off, we have Scola & Landry who are very effective and will cost less than what Lee will be seeking; and second - isn't Lee a free agent? If the Rockets really wanted him then go after him in free agency, don't move assets for him.
Agree w/ that..we can acquire Lee if only Landry is traded w/ tmac...Anyway, i think it's ok for us to get a player w/ huge contract for tmac if only that player would be a sure contributor..like VC or something like that..
The only way we trade T-MAC is if a team who wants to get in the Lebron Sweepstake is willing to tank next season. The two teams who I can see something happening with is New Jersey and Detroit. Jersey would be Vince for T-MAC and Detroit would be something like Rip Hamiltion and Fillers maybe a draft pick if they can. I say keep him let him heel and he could be a nice 3rd option behind Yao and Ron worst case his money is off the book and we can put pieces around Yao and Ron in 2010.
