That sounds more like "I don't give a damn on what you guys are saying about me".

If he doesn't care then why does he have to address it?

I have a feeling the McGrady issue is about the shots not going in. If he was shooting his average there wouldn't be a reason to b****. Tonight thats basically what happened. Take away the 1-2 bad shots at the end that you can attribute to him playing the entire second half.

A few things about this game that I'll give him credit for:

    1. Didn't rely on his jumpshot, he got 8 FTs by going to the basket and drawing contact.
    2. Played all of the second half (meaning all that "he quit in the 4th" **** from the Cavs game didn't happen)
    3. Was counted on to be the primary scorer this game with Yao not a factor until the 4th and he pulled through.
    4. We won the game. I know... its Oklahoma, but I might've bet on OKC if I had known before the game that Yao would go 3-10 and Artest was out.

I know... this is something he should do every game so it shouldn't be a big deal. But I believe if time and time again we criticize the guy for not doing one or all of these things in a game... we should also give him credit for when he finally does do them. I think its only fair.

I hope he can follow this one up with another good effort the next time he plays.

I hope he does get healthy...it would be great for the team.

Mentally and physically healthy is what we need from Tmac.

It's all mental with him.Did you see him speed dribble the basketball up the floor on the break,He was sprinting with the rock. Then he turns around misses a jumper and starts to semi limp and have agony on his face.

It's all in his head and the problem with him is he didn't put up 500 shots everyday in the summer. He didn't work on his game at all and when he misses a shot mentally he's blaming it on his leg when in reality is he didn't work on his game in the summer and as a result he is rusty.

Yeah, like all players, its a confidence thing when dealing with injuries. Tracy, its mental and physical trying to tell your mind to do something with your body. I would just play him 28 mins a night until he's back to form. I don't really like the game on, game off big mins Adelman is using right now.

That is Adelman's fault....he should never do that, it is probably pissing off the players that are there every game.

Sit or play, but don't go back and forth.

As for mental, I have yet to see Tmac actually push himself....he had a chance last night on a break to elevate and jam it, but chose to lay it up with his left.

He has to explode just once and land and find out his knee is not going to break to get through this...until that happens, I will have my doubts.

DD, I like when you talk positive about our players, but it sometimes really pisses me off when you don't, no offense. :D

Is it Adelman that is making the call with the proposed game on game off?

    he's all talk.

his injuries aren't going to heal. they may get better, but they will always cause pain. he may get healthy enough to play, but he will never be healthy.

he isn't worth anything in trade right now. this summer the team must decide to either keep him and let his contract run out in 2010 then go after all of the superstars on the market OR trade his ending contract (hopefully with rafer) to a team who wants to clear cap space for that summer in exchange for a new back court.

    Yes, this is true.

No one knows this, Dwayne Wade got healthy. TMac has had no major injuries, if he had rehabbed correctly he probably would be healthy now. I think he will be ok eventually, he just needs to push himself through it.

As a Rockets fan, I don't care if they keep him or trade him. If he gets with the program and plays within the system that would be great, if he is not willing to do that, then he can be shipped somewhere else where he can dominate the ball.

For me, whatever helps the Rockets is all that matters, and since he is a Rocket, I want him healthy...mentally and physically...

If the Rockets resign TMac for major money that will be a huge mistake; I don't think they will do it. Let his contract run out and move on.
