I think I showed up maybe 45 minutes before the gates opened last year (not sure how early the gates opened tho) and there was already a good line. This didn't prevent me from getting good seats or a spot at the entrance to get autographs though.
I'll be there! Does anyone know for will call, you pick up at the ball park the day of and not in advance at the toyota center right?
wow you must be my neighbor cause the game is in my backyard. haha lets get all the spring branch ppl to have a huge block party before the game.
Who went last year? What a good place to get autographs and pics of the players? Oh and do they serve any food or beverages at this place? Never been.
Since i can't create threads, i'll just put it here (not sure if it has been posted allready)...TMAC was on 104 KRBE today (yes i wasn't listening to the sports station, just tired of all the baseball trade talks in which the Astros had no part) There wasn't much rockets talk, but for those that are inetrested here is a recap: -Loves baseball more than basketball -Thinking about retirement in early 30's and could give baseball a shot -Big Clemens fan and disappointed about the Astros -Weekend includes an event at the Improv (30 dollar tickets) -Worst swing last year - Luther Head -Possible attendies - Robert Horry, Sam Cassell, AI
although some questions may have been asked and answered already i wanted to still ask - tickets $10...im assuming its a 1st come, 1st serve type of deal meaning that the people that get there 1st will have the best seats. - what time do the gates open? - getting autographs...did yall bye stuff to get signed? what did you bring? jw so i can be prepared for anything. id love to get a few autographs cause currently i have 1 (well my gf does) and its mutumbo lol - whatever else you want to add in that can be help to a 1st-timer thanks in advance.
it is definitely a first come, first serve deal. however, i didnt even sit down last year, there was too much to watch and stuff. i brought a rockets hat and my tmac jersey to get autographed. get there early and stand up at the front where all the players come in. thats your best chance to get autographs. when guys like tmac and lebron walked around, there were too many people around them and i wasnt pushy/mean enough to try to get through so i just got my hat signed by JVG, Sura, and Head. i dont know if warren moon is gonna be there, but if he is, you should bring a football. i regretted not doing that last year. the best part to me was just watching the games and taking some cool pictures. dont get too caught up in getting everybody's autograph or you wont have a good time.
The odds are pretty slim Moon will be there. He gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend in Canton, Ohio. He won't be there.
TMAC is not only a great player, but a nice person, often trying his best to help the others. Wish him healthy next season and prove himself on the basketball court!
Does anyone know what time this actually starts?? The tickets say 3pm but the Rockets site says 4pm and the Baseball USA say 5pm
