But after the Landry incident, I have a hard team believing this orginization. Morey is a great GM but the guy plays dirty and probably has too, to be great.

As mentioned it is to early for a thread like this just cause of one article from yahoo.

And as said it will be hilarious if the Rockets let him go and he returns to his old form.

In some cases I would like to see that happen just for everyone on here who keeps bashing him ;)

But I hope the Rockets make a smart decision and let him play.

Here is the thing....The season is still young...Let him play now (low minutes to high) and see how he does.

Every game he doesnt play in makes it a higher risk for the Rockets to play him later. Would you guys like the Rockets to test him now with about 20 games into the season or later on with about 40? If he doesnt do well then we know what happens.

Just let the man play and give him his chance.

sure it's not completely over but tmac isn't gonna play for us again.

wish the team does indeed trade him so he can play again. regardless of the critics, WHEN HEALTHY, tracy did put in a lot of work for this team. it was unfortunate the team couldn't achieve any success.

hopefully his hard work this summer will pay off. i believe he's still a star level player in this league.

new era has already begun anyways.

PS - if i hear adelman saying the same things again about this issue, i'm gonna keep smh.

What team wants to pay that much money for what *might* be a return to old form?

He's worth more money sitting on the bench and collecting his insurance money until his contract is expired and he can paid something more realistic. I predict T-Mac will ride his max contract to its end on the pine.

At least he won't cost us much.

attitude?? what attitude? he actually was way too patient, he clearly knew they didn't want him anymore and
that they weren't going to let him play again but he still just waited and didn't quit or anything like A.I. did, he kept his
patience. I don't see no attitude, so please at least tell me what attitude you're talking about before complaining.

McGrady could well come back and play for the Rockets this year. Injuries happen all of the time and it is not as if the team has an exceptionally deep roster as it is right now. You never know.

I said it a while back, McGrady has played his last game as a Houston Rocket.

The crap he pulled last season sealed his fate in the minds of Morey and Adelman.

Nobody came here with more hype than Tracy McGrady.

I don't even think Dream came in with this much hype. Dream was awesome coming out of college but didn't play in the NBA before.

We got Tracy McGrady after he had proven himself in the NBA as a superstar.

I appreciate him helping our team get into the record book with the 22 games winning streak.

I wish him the best. Good riddance.

One has to think that so long as t-mac practices with the team and RA is watching him that there is a chance he might play.

But it looks to be a very small chance.

T-macs recent outbursts may have sealed his fate or might have just been him realizing that the organization wrote him off a long time ago.

Ralph Sampson came here with a lot of hype also. Everyone expected a lot out of Sampson but due to injuries his career ended too early. I would put him second on that list.

I've always been a McGrady fan, and I still somewhat support him, but with a lot more ambivalence now.

I still don't think he deserves all the hate he gets around here, but there's been a lot of fishiness lately... I know he wanted to win with us, though, and it will be sad to see him go. Such a crappy way for things to end.

Sampson - we went to the NBA Finals and beat a Lakers team that is beyond superior to any team you see today

Tmac - you know this story

    It's not really a comparison.

Sampson's injuries were a result of a bad foul playing against the Celtics. Inproper treatment back in the day and over compensating for the injury caused his career to go down dramatically.

Tmac has had nagging injuries caused by wear and tear, not a result of one bad fall.

It's not over until his agent or the Player's Union files a grievance.

It is not over yet, I think. It is hard to trade a player with such huge contract. Do not know if Morey can do it sooner. As for his great play, the spurs's game should be one.
