I personally think the yao ming should have tried to play on his broken leg and he is p***y for quiting... A real man come playoff time would have gon on a broken leg, rib, etc. tmac had two injuries that forced him to shut it down...He tried with padding on his shoulder but eventually he couldn't go so I respect him for that.
Then WHY DIDN'T HE PLAY? The doctors said there was nothing wrong with him. He had to go diagnosis-hunting for weeks before he found one willing to go put lots of mini-breaks in his bone for him. For all you T-Mac fans out there, please think about this for a second: all of us "haters" did not spring up out of nowhere. You are not arguing with "flamers", or fans from other teams looking to get in a good shot while your team is down. We are ROCKETS FANS over anything. I can remember being the biggest McGrady apologist ever because every playoff series he went out of his mind and his team did not back him up. But what I have noticed as a difference between those that remain loyal to him and those (myself included) that now want nothing to do with him is, those who are against him are all the people that ACTUALLY PAID ATTENTION LAST YEAR. For those of us that followed each game, that followed each turn of the drama, we know--he took our team's money as the highest paid player, he took our team's heart as the emotional leader, and pulled an inside job on us last year. He took our best shot at a championship in a decade and a half and stuck a dagger in it. And when he did that he immediately became an enemy of the franchise. I'll be ready to take in all the good he did for us after we see what we've gotten in exchange for him in a trade.
T-Mac, Appreciation your hard work, your highlights and the As the Rockets turn Drama.... But it is time for you to make a new start and i wish you the best of luck... 1 down... 1 to go....
First of all, let me say that this thread is great, and i rate it 5 stars, i'd rate it even bigger if it was possible. Secondly, if that is true, and T-Mac goes, I GO WITH HIM!! srsl guys, how can they send t-mac away WITHOUT EVEN PLAYING HIM AT ALL GODDAMNIT!!! if they send him away, i hope he really gets back to his best form, just to show them how wrong they were...
If you think we can't or won't trade him, or that some other team wouldn't take him on to sell some tickets and dump some salary, well....it's an opinion. Either we lose a young player we'd like to keep and get one of these I'm-gonna-leave-in-the-offseason All Stars OR we find a combo of expirings and young players, or whatever. But as soon as we get enough insurance money on him, he's gone.
shows what type of fan u are... anyway, i do appreciate the things he does, but im not gonna miss him. he is like an allen iverson to me, was a fan but bad attitude changed that.
Just a guess but it probably went something like this: "I just decided to impose my will on the game" DD
LOL - the oldies are the best. It is true, though, he said it a LOT ! I will show some appreciation for him, when whatever happens to him regarding the team happens, whether it is to play or to trade. Patience. DD
