    Was TMac guarding Leon Powe???
When you let Leon Powe score 20 in 20 minutes, you lose.

TMac wasn't great, but the interior defense, rebounding, and ball control was terrible. Scola and Hayes combined for 7 defensive rebounds. There were multiple issues tonight, not just TMac.

I agree. Rafer couldn't shoot, Scola couldn't do much defensivly. We couldnt rebound the ball, Hayes couldn't make layups. Shane, Rafer couldn't shoot.

But I expect a lot more from McGrady. 8 pts - this may bo good for 1 quater.

Tracy being the superstar that he is, shouldnt bash his teamates to the media. But if you watched the game, he was right about his teamates needing to make those shots. Bottom line, Boston's defense was amazing.

Tracy wasnt a factor at all.

I love Tmac but come on guys...

what kind of so-called "five-star superstar" goes on national tv and basically says he's not scoring because he's "tired"?

It obvious for this team to go anywhere TMAC needs to man up...we could also use the big fella, but I still think we can get past the 1st round.

Anyone know the status of Landry?

Bashing was the wrong word....shouldve said criticise. But yeah, he should have said this in the locker room and not to the national media. Regardless, Boston shut us down. The whole team.

    29, 7, 6 in the playoffs.

tmac sucked the past 2 games. people need to move on. i was frustrated as hell too. but i'm not going to let 2 games destroy what happened in during the streak where tmac really showed me a lot of his leadership.

let's see how the team and tmac RESPONDS. this is where tmac shows what kind of player he is. can he unite the team? if he sucks it up after these next 3 games, then we have a problem. BUT IT'S ONE LOSS after 22 WINS IN A ROW.

you can't diminish how great tmac has done since he came back from injury: trying to integrate himself into the offense, trying to be a better teammate, trying to actualy cheer on the sidelines instead of always sitting down, always talking to teammates... he's making A LOT of strides in the leadership area.

"We're talking like the season's over," Rockets guard Tracy McGrady said, sensing the doom and gloom. "We're playing well, and we've got to continue playing this way."

again, the next 3 days will define our lasting power in the playoffs (and it really sucks that we don't have landry b/c we really need him. the rockets medical staff needs to give us something more definitive here)

tmac is a superstar, he gets really affected when he is "tired." Whether tired means lazy, or tired just means plain tired, if makes him look horrible. Evidence: last game, Utah game 7, lakers game,

i don't know if i can blame him, because i will never truly understand what his mind is on. he could seriously be tired, or just lazy. half of me, says, he is tired, he played alot of minutes the past week, but the other half, is saying, even with yao ming, he says he was tired.

this game proves, we need our injured players back. we need yao. we need landry. we need francis (i still believe) next season is our time. this season.. we're going to test how much our will can do.

Geez, this board has become a bandwagon site...

If you couldn't tell Mac was tired, then watch more games. So he said he was tired. And? He played...he hit important shots, made good plays/passes. Most importantly, we won. Last night, we didn't.

I remember thinking during the LA game..."man, TMac looks drained, sick, or something." Then they announced that he had an IV drip after the last game or something. I don't know if that's a regular thing, but man...he needs to rest up every extra moment he can during this tough stretch of games.

"He through his team under the bus." I'm refraining from name-calling. Did we forget the rest of the interview? He went on to say they have been winning as a team, and how he also hates it when people say it's 'TMac and the Rockets.' He has been dishing out compliments and props to his teammates. I mean you guys tell me what happened last night?

Boston was set on completely shutting TMac down. Double on the dribble, cut off passing lanes, don't allow him to beat you any other way then to shoot over you. The only passes available to him were perimeter passes.

I was urging him to drive last night, get a foul, charge, something, but honestly...it wouldn't have mattered. Celts made halftime adjustments to shut our offense that is mainly predicated on TMac's ability to create and dish.

Anyway...more to say, but I'm "tired."

LOL hahahah Who here is surprised?? This bum is a horrible defender and is a lazy SOB.... Was it the lakers game? No because he wasn't even guarding Kobe. Was it the day off? No because It's your F#$$##% day off. People have yet to realize this is Tracy.. He's a no show on big games and it shows.. The playoffs are all big games what do you think will happen? And his so called dominating self has been against some sorry teams or teams with injuries..

so tmac has never showed up in playoff games? how do you get 29, 7, 6 if you don't show up? (shows your lack of "knowledge" there)

didn't we beat the hornets? TWICE? mavs? 29 and 13 in game 7?

i'll stop posting in this thread b/c it's obvious the fans lack a lot of knowledge

Hey don't talk "intelligent" here. People who have never played basketball thinks just penetrate! Hey forget that TMac could actually be slower than his defender and cannot pass through the double team that is coming or that the defense is playing zone.

If Yao a 7 ft 6" 320 lb guy has to take jumpers instead of powering his way to the basket, a shooting guard actually shooting jumpers are shocking??

We've only won 31 of our last 35, and now we have a 1 game losing streak!!! We are doomed...

We lost to the best team in the league...the sky is falling!!!

That's why some people are stupid. If we win Tracy is the best, he is MVP. If we lose he is the worst player, McLazy, loser, and we should trade him...

Man, the rockets should count their lucky blessings to have some of you as fans.

At the first sign of trouble, you guys just pour cyanide into the koolaid.

    Pretty douchey really.
