Sorry ass performance? it wasn't stellar but he had 8 rebounds 8 assists. He obviously made things happen. Its not his fault he got double teamed like crazy and his team mates didn't make them pay
How did he quit? Adelman pulled him because the team was down by 20 and was completely out of rythym. If Yao wasn't hurt and the Rockets were n the same situation, Adelman would have done the same.
that's why you don't trust fran. that "tired" quote is from the lakers game, not tonight. he credited the boston's defense. tmac didn't play well tonight, but please, don't trust fran for your tmac's ideas.
I think this is being spun to make Tmac look bad. Yes the team needs to make open shots, although there were not many opportunities tonight. I would like to see the quote in which Tmac used those words.
Wow nice thread title. Old quotes. No solid quotes. Why don't you just start a T-Mac bashing thread and make up all the articles you'd like? All that's missing is an appearance from Rowdie Brandon and you can have yourselves a party.
Umm ... so you are saying T-Mac took to the hole on a constant basis? Can you honestly say T-Mac tried to take over the 4th quater? Look I love T-MAC, but when things go bad like tonight you something positive (i.e. win streak) or say nothing at all!
We should give Tmac credits for this winning streak. He played 48 minutes twice. He is not perfect, but he did his best in his own philosophy.
it's also about READING COMPREHENSION. your title obviously shows how much you actually read into what fran's saying, who's a world-renowned tmac critic. please read next time before you start posting topics like this. it's misleading.
Then maybe he should get them some open shots(he usually does)...... Tmac is not the superstar everyone wants to be, He is a great player.....no more, no less...
We've all seen this from T-Mac before. He'll never run for public office that's for sure. He just doesn't know when to shut it. Gotta say this for him though. He doesn't hide how he's feeling. Wears it all out there on his sleeve for the entire world to see. At least he's honest. Yeah he probably is tired, that's a lot of minutes that Adleman has been playing him. Should his teammates be making their shots? Absolutely. It just doesn't sound good and makes him sound like a pansy whiner. Little diplomacy lessons wouldn't hurt T-Mac. Maybe a media relations course eh?
we need yao. but that's just imagenation, not true. we just hope tracy can carry the rockets to prove other people's wrong. Rockets is a stronge and good team in this league.
It was probably one of those generic "we have to move the ball, and make our open shots" quotes. And Fran took that and chose to spin it so that it looks like he's blaming his teammates. Typical.

tmac's quotes after the game: "All good things must come to an end," Rockets guard Tracy McGrady said. "It's not disappointing. That's a heck of a team over there. They outplayed us. I've never seen defense like that. If they play defense like that night in, night out, the NBA is in trouble. That was defense at its finest. "It was a great run. The team really went out and laid everything out on the basketball court night in, night out. We did it together as a team. We're in the history books. But we don't want to look back on it. We want to start another streak." i think feign took that quote out and added new quotes but tmac said they kept doubling me and b/c WE as a team couldn't make shots, they kept doubling.
Tracy McGrady has to remember what Yao Ming said of him. He must 人挡杀人,佛挡杀佛...... Then he will be unstoppable. He has to do more penetration, and shoot the ball himself within the paint, or get fouled and score from the free throw lines or create point blank opportunities for his forwards...........and not downgrade himself to just a passer, or shooting his long range jumpers !!
Ok .. How is it misleading? The article quoted McGrady saying "I'm tired" and he said his teammates "must make open shots" The thread say .. "He's Tired ... Blames teammates". What's the confusion?
