That dunk didn't remind me of the Swift dunk. The T-mac dunk good just for the fact that we haven't seen T-mac dunk on anyone this year.

But that Swift dunk was just flat out sick.

I'd be more impressed if he jumped off his left leg and dunked it right handed. It's his left knee that's weak -- once he starts dunking off that leg, then I'll considering saying "he's back".

Yeah, I'm sorry, but T-Mac is still WAY BELOW 100%...

It's good to see that he'll attempt going strong to the hoop, but I wasn't encouraged, by his post-game comments that he still feels pain in the knee.

It's one thing if we were already in the playoffs, and the man is taking injections to weather a seven game series. Here, still in mid-season, I mean... anything, and I mean ANYTHING can still happen to a bum knee. I wish he'd take more time off to let the thing heal for sure.

If the body is signaling "PAIN", something is amiss. T-Mac is doing what he can but again, imho, it's not courage but stupidity that he's out there. Play in this-sort of pain (and not mere soreness) is like asking for another injury to happen. Soon, he'll be compensating for the bum knee by putting more force, more effort into other aspects of his legs and before you know it, foot problems, back problems, etc. etc.

NOt saying this to curse him, but there are simply too many games btw now and the playoffs to be chancing yet another injury imho.

I'm no doctor, but it could a situation where there'll just always be some pain. At some point, he needs to just learn how to play through it.

It's a nice dunk but McGrady can do better things and we all know it.

He barely got off the ground and dunked it but it was sweet especially if you know what the Rockets went through these last few months.

So hopefully he rests his knee more during the games and does the workouts later to strengthen it to have successful postseason.

And finally some good news and not much of the hate on the board.

Me either. I mean it was a strong drive and a strong finish, but the explosion and the quickness still isn't all the way there. Still waiting for that breakout game where i can say he's back.

no worries, apology accepted - i hate it when ppl hijack threads, too. at first it would get on my nerves b/c, as the thread starter, i would like to think that i put some effort into coming up with an original topic and started the thread, and now it's going up in smoke. but now, almost akin to Eminem in 8 Mile, if you preempt them and take the wind out of their sails, you kinda kill the hijacking before it begins, if done properly. (i probably didn't do it the correct way in this instance.)

i think this was his response to all his critics, specially the stare at the end, 'what about now'
