you really think tracy needs to learn how to play with other players? tracy can play with anybody anytime. he's a natural basketball talent.

tracy has shown he can still play big minutes and not get fatigued this year so being game-ready won't be a problem. and he'll be rehabbing so he'll be in shape.

when he gets back, he might be rusty with his shot, but he's a streaky shooter anyways. the thing you should judge him is how much playmaking he will resume doing when he gets back. if he does a lot, then he's all-right.

he hasn't done much playmaking when he's out there on the court and ron/yao/and others won't be learning much with him playing like that b/c he usually controls most of the playmaking

In my opinion man, it's Artest I worry most about. When Yao, McGrady, and/or Artest are on the floor, there's no "system" or offense. It's go to who is making shots and demands a double, and find the open person. At most, PnR with McGrady and he makes a play. Playing together is of course important, but I think it's less important for players of their caliber.

McGrady can do his part there. Yao does his part as far as posting up and finding the open man. Artest...oh boy. I know he's better than he's been showing. I just hope he shows that better side real soon.

Then again, his ankle could be bugging him so much he can't really perform well. Now it's the McGrady play or sit thing all over again.

Oh. Well, that explains it. Blinebury hates T-Mac with a passion. Not sure why. I really dislike Blinebury, but I have no idea if there is more to this...what does Blinebury know that we don't?

we better not sign artest next year. we can use that money on someone that can shoot the ball.

Tell me something do the Wizards fans feel the same way with Gilbert Arenas who hasn't been healthy for 2 years? At least Tmac plays down the stretch where it counts.

That's about as far as Jonathan Feigen will go in calling out Tracy McGrady.

It's pretty clear that the Rockets feel T-Mac can and should play, but he wants to sit out for his own reasons. I suspect that there is something to the rumor that Tracy has some personal issues in his life he's trying to deal with right now.

Or some issues with coaching/management. Pure speculation, but he's unhappy about something. As Feigen once said "Typically moody McGrady".

He is frustrated with his injury. One day it is great, the next it is unstable. He has said it and it was evident in his play.

u know the only thing that i worry about?

Yao takes too much work load while Tmac's not around, and get injuried again. with yao's size and age, he might not come back as what he is now...

i dont worry much about Tmac. If he is a man with heart, he'll come back 100%; if he's not, he'll still come back to play super hero when we need him the most.

So try to raise your standard a bit, cluth fans. all we need our boys to do in the regular season is to make the palyoff, and avoid the lakers in the first round (the later the better). We ARE a better team this year. We've proven enough in last regular season by winning 55+ games. the only goal that we have should be making it to the WC final!

That is where Yao needs to be more responsible. When he feels unstable, he needs to speak up. He did that earlier in the season.

So, uh, play on the good days, and try to play on the bad days....in 3 weeks it will be the same.

We all want a championship, or a team that can actually fight for it.

EVERYONE HERE KNOWS THAT TMAC CANT DO THAT.

Especially when he cant play for 2 weeks straight at the beginning of the season.

What would happen when we get to the playoffs? the intensity rises and crybaby will have his back, knee, shoulder whatever injured and the team will collapse.

Cut his contract, trade, whatever. Just dont build an entire team on a fraggile fundemental such as T-Mac.

If TMac is a distraction, that ticker is putting fuel to it. I understand the press has no conscience. They just want attention. But that is a crisp clear statement what THEY as a newspaper staff (not just a single reporter) think about TMac's situation. And they did it in an adolescent sort of way.

What is wrong with it? They are trying to drive traffic to their site, it is brilliant marketing.
