Well, at least we beat a healthy Spurs team, and the Pacers handed LA their second loss of the season.

I agree. Really unclassy thing for the Chron to do. I'm guessing that was Blinebury's idea.

They get paid for the number of unique hits to their website, I doubt class had anything to do with the decision to put it there.

Wow, keep your emotions in check much?

If you bring up injuries, you need to add our other star into the discussion. Oh yea, and Artest is playing hurt now and at this time is making bad plays out there. By the way, McGrady has played hurt ie. played through pain. He did pretty much after he sustain his first injury last year. I think it was the elbow or something. Then the knee and shoulder came into the picture. He played through all of that.

Seriously, who says "FU" to another adult that hasn't threatened you or your families well-being?

McGrady talks alot about his injuries, more so than anyone wants to hear. But you are basically calling him a liar. Care to give some evidence to support that?

I think his chance is slim.

With tracy and barry out, Wafer and Head stepped in.

Unless there is an injury to Rafer, Brooks, Head, and/or Wafer...I think Francis will have a tough time seeing the court. I'm pulling for him though. Would be interesting to see what he has left.

I do think he is an exagerator ...just a couple of examples...

    1. "My elbow is cracked" - he had a strained elbow
    2. "My back hurts" - dealing with a pregnancy in Orlando
    3. "I worked my ass off all summer rehabbing" followed by yesterday's admission that he needs to do the rehab consistently in the Hilltopper video...uh..what?

    So many many more Tmacisms....

Tmac has been less than truthful his entire career, and so it continues here......

I can't get the video to work right now (missed it yesterday), but I'll watch it when I can. I remember him saying he had some "tears," in his elbow, and he did indeed have a strain. Technically he was correct as a strain is several small tears.

As to point 2, I can't speak to that because I didn't follow his career at all when he played for the Magic.

I'll watch the video and see if I have a different interpretation (I probably will :D ), but I will say this: I think McGrady talks too much about his injuries and we as fans get hung up on it and start dissecting every little thing he says, which only leaves us all confused and irritated as he seems to contradict himself every other day.

However, at least as a Rocket, I do not believe he has ever been a liar.

And everyone else at the Chron, including the sports page editor, rolled over because they were afraid that Blinebury would give them a noogie?

    The Big Picture

Another great article. I'm glad that someone has pointed out that our schedule for this month isn't that bad. Well we can still lose to anyone but I think you get my drift.

if anything, tracy's too honest. we may think he's exaggerating, but to him, it's probably real.

there were threads this offseason of posters that saw tracy running freakin' late at night at a high school track field.

like that ESPN guy said when they broke the news yesterday, whenever tracy feels like saying something, he'll say them before thinking about the consequences.

he's not a smart guy, but he's an honest guy. i dont' think there's point in him for lying b/c he says what he feels.

and i agree with that. obviously it is nice to know what is really going on, but on the other side if everybody started being really honest...

I don't think he is honest at all, I think he exagerates to make himself look good....

I think the doctors are being honest......they are the only one's that could be sued if they weren't.

It just shows that Rockets managment is waiting for the playoffs. They don't want to risk further injury and have McGrady make excuses for why the rockets didn't go pass the first round. I believe this is McGrady's last shot with the rockets. If the team doesn't make it pass the first round this defenitely becomes Yao's team and McGrady should be on the trading block. I agree with many fans on this thread that McGrady is not hungry anymore, which is a shame since he could have been one of the greats!
