As long as he's healthy in April/May/June I don't understand how anybody can be upset. Sure he's no ironman but he's always ready to go in the playoffs. Our goal is to get out of the first round and ultimately win a championship. Not win 55 games and secure homecourt only to be bounced from the first round. Besides, we have enough firepower to get into the playoffs all we need is a healthy finisher aka Mac.

I am so tired of this! Same thing happens for every season. Tmac is out in early season, and all burden is on Yao's shoulder. Then, Yao is overloaded, and injured again, again, again, ...

I think he's shown the least enthusiasm out of all the players on the court as of late and his new strategy of backing the opponent down to the hoop has been less than stellar. The guy just can't cut to the basket any more and seems more unmotivated than before.

This could be, but I think he's just lost his passion for the game.

I wouldn't mind T-mac and Yao sitting out 3 weeks as long as we sign Deke soon.

    Rafer
    Battier
    Artest
    Scola
    Deke

Can keep us at .500 ball and then we can have a healthy T-mac and Yao for the rest.

We sign Artest is not for replacing Tmac! We wish the BIG 3 together can win
    more games for us!

BTW, Artest's salary is not from Tmac's salary!

Tmac is a smart person. In fact, I think he is too smart to be a francise player!

If he lost his passion, he could choose to retire!

    1. Hopefully he comes back strong after all star break
    2. We DON'T need him the whole season to make it to the playoffs
    3. Last year, the team began to learn how to MOVE on the court when TMac sat. This year, I expect the same- when he comes back, I expect a fluid transition.
    4. I would still like to see Artest being a 6th man, and get 35 minutes. He will get used to his role in the playoffs and it gives opportunity to develop Luther for the playoffs. Does anyone really care if we lose 8-9 more games- but benefit in the long run?

I dont know what your point is....But the big three can only win us alot of games if theyre healthy. If Tracy is hurt, he needs to sit and get back to where he needs to be.

if he's at practice, i think he's using the practice to regain the strength, but the additional rest to relieve the soreness.

hopefully when he returns, there's no need to really take him in that slowly.

I remember yesterday he went to see a doctor, and he said Tmac is ok.

Wake up, Tmac is saving him for next season! He won't be back in 3 weeks. Normally, a player is out for 3 weeks, he will be out of shape, and need a rehad precedure.

If this were last year I'd be upset but the thing is we have Artest this year. Last year our other players broke down late. Rafer and Shane most noteably and of course Yao but that was early. With the addition of Artest and improvement and increased playing time of Brooks I have no qualms with Tmac taking time off or where the teams headed. Our PF position is not a concern with Hayescolandry.

Seriously, the days of Tmac averaging 28 ppg, popping off for 50+ point games, playing 70+ games and getting MVP considerations are over. That doesn't mean he won't be the key piece in getting us out of the first round.

My only concern is getting a backup center ASAP to limit Yao's minutes.

Maybe he's just out of the lineup for 3 weeks...That doesnt mean he'll be sitting on his ass the whole time.

from the looks of the 3 games without tracy, yao is not shouldering that much load. so he should be fine.

So, we lost two of three games!

If the rockets want to stay in playoff picture, Yao has to shoulder a lot!
